Meghan shared:

"She's not good, as you can imagine. She has some PTSD and I think probably everybody [who was] there does. It's the deadliest mass shooting in American history. It's horrible."

The poor thing!

The momma also described how Hayley, who attended the Route 91 Harvest Festival with friends, followed her roommate to safety during the shooting:

Donald Trump Boasts $1 Million 'Award' To Las Vegas Like We're In The Hunger Games Or Something

Donald Trump

We wish we could say we were surprised by this.

On Wednesday, Donald Trump tweeted that he was "happy to announce" that $1 million was being "awarded" to Las Vegas following "last Sunday's tragedy."

POTUS boasted the donation by saying:

Couple of things here.

A) AWARDED?! The dedicated men and women dealing with the aftermath of the Las Vegas mass shooting deserve every penny and every ounce of support from our country and government. This isn't some sort of TV competition, this is real life and helping cities in need is literally your JOB.

B) Call it what it is — domestic terrorism. If this terrorist wasn't legally allowed to purchase dozens of assault weapons, we wouldn't be here.

jason aldean returns to vegas

Jason Aldean has returned to Las Vegas.

A mere week after his performance at the Route 91 Harvest Festival was derailed by a tragic mass shooting, the country crooner and his pregnant wife Brittany Kerr Aldean returned to Sin City to visit with hospitalized survivors of the shooting. Understandably, the visit was an emotional one for the Aldeans.

As we previously reported, Jason was on stage performing when gunman Stephen Paddock began raining bullets from his 32nd-floor hotel room at the Mandalay Bay onto the 22,000 person crowd. The domestic terrorist attack left at least 58 people dead and over 500 others injured.

UFC's Dana White Is FURIOUS At Jason Aldean For Choosing SNL Over Benefit Concert After Las Vegas Shooting: 'Fuck You… Stay Out Of Vegas'

This feud seems… inappropriate right now.

Dana White, the man behind the incredibly popular UFC, is feuding with country singer Jason Aldean after the performer opted to show up at Saturday Night Live to perform this weekend instead of doing a concert in front of shooting survivors and first responders in Las Vegas.

The Vegas concert would have taken place at UFC 216, which took place last night in Vegas, and White apparently reached out to Aldean's camp to have him sing the National Anthem there that night.

Fifteen survivors and 'hundreds' of first responders were in attendance at the UFC event, and would have been there to see Aldean perform.

According to White, Aldean's management

After Las Vegas Shooting, Gun Mod Supplier Suspends All Sales Of Controversial 'Bump Stocks'

| Filed under: Legal MattersPolitikSin City

We had no idea what a "bump stock" was a few days ago. And we should never have had to learn.

Essentially a bump stock is a rifle modification that makes a semi-automatic weapon fire with the speed of a fully automatic weapon. It's what the Las Vegas shooter used to kill 59 people and injure hundreds more attending the Route 91 Harvest Festival on Sunday.

This gun modification is at the moment completely legal, or as Slide Fire, the company that originated the design, puts it, bump stocks are "controllable, safe, and ATF approved!"

Well, that may not be true much longer. The NRA, possibly in an effort to pass the blame from guns in general to this one specific technology, has come out with a rare statement in favor or MORE gun control, writing:

A Tearful Eric Church Speaks On Las Vegas Shooting — 'I Saw That Crowd … No Amount Of Bullets Can Take That Away'

| Filed under: Music MinuteR.I.P.Sin CitySad SadViolence

Eric Church

This hits hard.

Two nights before the Las Vegas shooting, Eric Church took the stage as Route 91 Harvest Festival's Friday night headliner. By the end of the weekend, a domestic terrorist had opened fire on the same crowd of country fans who cheered for him just days before.

During his performance at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville on Wednesday night, the Record Year singer spoke at length about the tragedy — and noted there were two empty seats in the auditorium because two of his fans, Heather and Sonny Melton, were supposed to be in attendance. Sonny died on Sunday saving his wife's life.

Church recalled the energy that filled the Vegas Strip when he jumped down into the crowd during his set:

"I shook everybody's hand and I thanked them for coming. I came back up the left side, saw smiling faces, hands in the air and pictures being taken … 48 hours later, those places where I stood was carnage."

Tearing up, he went on:

"Those are my people. Those are my fans … The reason I'm here tonight is because of Heather Melton, and her husband Sonny who died, and every person that was there. And I'll tell you, I saw that crowd. I saw them with their hands in the hair, with boots in the air, and that moment in time was frozen, and there is no amount of bullets that can take that away."

The 40-year-old also debuted a new song Why Not Me, which he was inspired to write after seeing Heather's interview on CNN about how big of an Eric Church fan her husband was — and how they had tickets for the Opry that very night.
