Paris And Nicky Party With Snoop!

Nicky Paris Snoop

Nicky Paris Snoop 2

It was all fun and games for Paris Hilton, Nicky Hilton, and Snoop Dogg in St. Tropez recently!

The girls watched him perform the only way Snoop can, and the three partied afterward, laughing and dancing.

Looks like they had a BALL! We love genuine smiles!

Snoop Pitching His Own Idol-Esque Show

Filed under: Reality Television > Snoop

snoop-idol.jpg

If American Idol, The Voice, X Factor and America's Got Talent just aren't cutting it for you, get ready for Snoop's new reality show venture.

The Dogg is reportedly shopping around a new singing compition show that he is toting as "raps answer to American Idol." Snoop seems pretty confident that the show will have an instant audience and reach the success level of Ido, but so far, the networks he's pitched to aren't feeling the same.

That might have to do with the fact that he's got no one lined up for his judging panel yet. Snoop had mentioned the Jay-Z could be one of the panelists, but when reached for comment Jay's rep denied it.

As of now, the only networks showing ANY interest in the show are E! and MTV.

Better than nothing, we guess!

Do U think U'd watch a Rapper Idol???

America's Favorite Sweethearts Ice-T And CoCo Renew Their Vows!

So. Much. Cuteness.

America's favorite couple Ice-T and the bootylicious CoCo celebrated their 10-year wedding anniversary on Friday by renewing their vows!

Queen CoCo wore a sparkling white princess dress with matching tiara while her King Ice wore a matching white suit and smile (we would smile too if we were married to such a beauty!) as they walked down the aisle in front of family and friends, including Snoop and their English bulldog Spartacus, at the W Hotel in El Lay.

Listen up, Hollywood. This is how you do married life. Even after 10 years, Ice and CoCo are still keeping it strong and with smiles on their faces. This is what you call true love!

Congratulations to our king and queen!

P.S. Ice Loves CoCo premieres this Sunday, June 12 on E!! WATCH IT!!

And, for more pics of the couple, check out the gallery (below)!

It's Here! Check Out Snoop Dogg's Winning, Ft. Charlie Sheen (Duh!)

All right, so maybe it's not an instant classic, but at least the proceeds are going to a good cause!

Check out the video (above) of Snoop Dogg's Winning, Ft. Charlie Sheen.

As we said yesterday, Charlie's pledged to donate all the proceeds from Winning to relief campaigns for people who were affected by the devastating tornadoes last month…so yeah, we'll show Sheen our support!

What do U think of Winning? Will U download a copy to help out tornado victims?

Team Sheen, Your "Winning" Song Drops Tomorrow! The Charlie Sheen/Snoop Opus Is Complete!

charlie-sheen-song-download.jpg

For the rest of you, avoid the radio tomorrow.

According the "Sheenius" himself, Charlie Sheen and Snoop's Winning song will drop tomorrow…and people are going to "love" it.

We'll see about that!

Former Korn guitarist Rob Patterson, who wrote the music, while Snoop Dogg penned the lyrics, was a bit more realistic about the song, calling it "fun and entertaining," but ultimately not something anyone should take too seriously. However, though he didn't agree with Charlie on the impact the song will have on the world, he did agree with Charlie's assessment that Snoop was "a warlock" when it came to writing the lyrics. He explains:

"He arrived at 9:00 p.m. and was out by 11:00 p.m. We were all shocked by how quickly and how professionally he was able to just bang it out."

The man's a pro! He's got a gift! Nothing more to say.

Okay, maybe one more thing. As much as we'd love to poke fun at this thing (and believe us when we tell you we have the lowest expectations possible for it), we also hope it does well. Not to benefit Charlie, mind you, but to benefit all the people who were affected by the devastating tornadoes last month. You see, Charlie's pledged all the proceeds to the relief campaigns.

We can't hate on a gesture like that.

James Van Der Beek Has A Weird Fetish In The Big Bang

Filed under: Film Flickers > Snoop

James Van Der Beek is mounting a come back, that's for sure, and perhaps a little reinvention is at hand as well??

First we saw him in a Ke$ha video, then we interviewed him, then he announced the pilot (which hasn't aired yet) called Don't Trust The Bitch In Apartment 23, and now we're seeing clips from a cool looking, slightly bizarre film called The Big Bang!

Also, in a lot of those projects, he's either playing a version of himself or an actor, and if we take a page from Scream 4, that's what we call being "meta."

In The Big Bang, homeboy plays an actor with a strange and specific fetish. Ch-ch-check out the clip of it above!

He stars alongside Antonio Banderas, and Snoop Snoop-a-loop Dogg, in a movie about a PI looking for a lost girl that turns into a fight to help the survival of the world!

Sounds and looks interesting to us! We'll definitely check it out!

We hope the come back sticks, James! Yeah!

Ashley Judd Explains Hip-Hop Comments After Backlash

Filed under: Music Minute > Diddy > Snoop

ashley-judd-explains-hip-hop-comments.jpg

Time for some backtracking.

After stating in her upcoming memoir, All That Is Bitter & Sweet, that some hip-hop artists, including Snoop and Diddy, promote a "rape culture," Ashley Judd is responding to the backlash surrounding her comments.

She says:

"My intention was to support artists to know that they have so much power. That they make incredible life changing impressions, particularly on the young. And we have choices everyday with our expressions, either empower and celebrate people or to re-enforce inequality and degradation."

She continued:

"There are elements, and that is the part that has been so distorted… what I'm being accused of is condemning rap and hip-hop as a whole, and the whole community and when they say community, they mean the fans, and African-Americans, it's become so generalized.

"My intention was to take a stand to say the elements of that musical expression that are misogynistic and treat girls and women in a hyper-sexualized way that are inappropriate. That is not acceptable in any artistic expression, in any cultural form, whether its country music or in television story lines. And if they read more than one paragraph in the book, they would see that all four hundred pages are about that," she concluded."

Well, if she had just said this in the first place then she could have avoided the backlash.

What do U think of Ashley's explanation? Do U agree?

Snoop Turned Down Offer To Judge X Factor

Filed under: TV News > Simon Cowell > Snoop > X Factor

no-x-factor-job-for-snoop.jpg

Yeah, we can't see this being his type of thing anyway. He should stick to performing with Big Time Rush.

Snoop has confirmed that he was approached by Simon Cowell for a seat at the coveted judges table on the American version of The X Factor, but turned it down as it was too big of a commitment for him. He explained to sources:

"They asked me to do that, but I don't think that's for me. I wouldn't mind going on the show as a mentor, but not as far as a judge."

Hey, there's an idea. Yeah, we could see you doing really well with that.

P.S. - Have they ever had a "rap week" on American Idol? (Better question - will they ever have a rap week on American Idol?)
