Steve-O has learned that the hard way!

After 115 days of sobriety, he claims, the Jackass star is seeking to further his recovery by checking himself in to a psychiatric hospital (the looney bin, as he calls it).

Steve-O shares his struggles on his blog.

He writes:

"Hello Everyone,

After seeing "Dr. Drew's Celebrity Addiction Special" on VH1 News, I figured it was time to put something out there for you all. I expected my part on that show to be much harder to watch than it wound up being. It made me want to explain a little bit of what I've been going through since I got clean, to help some of you understand how much damage drugs and alcohol have really done to me. I've now been clean for 115 days, and I'm, again, in a mental institution. I did so much cocaine, ketamine, pcp, nitrous oxide, and all sorts of other drugs, that, quite simply, my brain is fucked up. As you can probably tell by the way I'm writing this, my cognitive skills are alright, but, I frequently suffer from horrible mood swings and severe depression. Those of you who have followed my warped mind's trail on the Internet for a significant amount of time have, I'm sure, been very aware of those attributes, but, I just want you all to know that four fucking months (almost) of not touching a damn thing that a psychiatrist didn't perscribe to me hasn't changed that shit. The medication that is prescribed to me doesn't do the trick every day, let's just put it that way. I'm back in the looney bin trying to get that shit right. The bottom line is that doing drugs fucked my ass up and I'm going to be paying for it for a long time, probably for the rest of my life. Everyone's going to make their own decisions in life, but nobody needs to make the same mistakes I made. I love you all,

Steve-O has just plead guilty to felony cocaine possession Tuesday in a Los Angeles courthouse.

We can't believe he actually plead guilty!

We're surprised he didn't try to blame it on someone else. That's what junkies do.

But, apparently, he's not a junkie anymore! The Jackass alum is almost 3 months sober.

Good for him!

If you recall, Steve-O was arrested in March after fighting with a neighbor over a fence. When cops arrived, they found narcotics on him and arrested him.

His original plead was not guilty.

As part of his sentence today, the jackass star must attend rehab for two years.

But, on a good note, that means no jail time for him.

His attorney, Barry Gerald Sands, said "Steve is doing great - he has been sober for 85 days. His probation is set for 18 months, but it may be shorter depending on his good behavior and continuation with the program he is in."

Sands also mentioned that Steve-O "is currently living in a sober house and has straightened up.”

Let's hope he really gets the help he needs.

Steve-O was arrested by one of his neighbors yesterday for allegedly vandalizing and causing damage in their apartment building.

Well….

It seems like the Jackass star has been having some drama with the angry neighbor - a lawyer - for some while.

And, in a brazilliant twist, he had been documenting on his YouTube account all the fights they'd been getting into!!!

If this goes to trial, it's gonna get very sticky.

Steve-O was arrested Sunday night, and to our total surprise it wasn't for drunk driving or drugs!

Jackass alum was busted for vandalism, of all things.

A neighbor in his Los Angeles apartment complex made a citizen's arrest after Steve-O began going berserk and was breaking holes in the walls of his apartment building.

Yeah, he's still 14 years old!

Showing resourcefulness, he smoked a home-made soda can bong on the red carpet of the Gene Simmons roast at the Key Club in LA on Tuesday night.

Lindsay Lohan needs to work on her manners, in addition to her addictions.

The rehab-ing actress is a drug thief!

Jackass star Steve-O revealed on the Howard Stern show Wednesday morning that Lohan once stole his coke.

The freaky comic, who laughed uncontrollably while saying he likes to inhale nitrous oxide from whipped cream cans, said Lohan took what he called the "Boog Suge" from him after she forgot her wallet in his bathroom and came back to his place to get it. There's even proof she was there - Lohan had to sign a release while at Steve-O's house for a DVD he was filming at the time.

Wonder if he did any coke or nitrous with Nicole Richie?

Drugs, they don't do an unborn baby good!
