The letter focuses on implied endorsement — that is, Tyler and the band don't want it to seem as though they are on Trump's side based on the fact that the 69-year-old candidate publicly uses their song for political events:

Steven Tyler and Dr. Phil aren't the first names that pop into mind when you think about country music.

But both are presenters at this Sunday's ACM Awards, PerezHilton.com can reveal EXCLUSIVELY!

Actually, the two are both big country fans; rocker Steven is releasing a country album and Dr. Phil has admitted he "loves" the genre.

Rounding out the list of presenters are: Beth Behrs (which makes sense since the ceremony airs on CBS), Cowboys QB Tony Romo (Texas, duh), Kelly Clarkson (crossover superstar), Hunter Hayes, and Thomas Rhett.

Thomas will be pulling double duty; he's also slated to duet with Cole Swindell.

Other performers include Jason Aldean, Dierks Bentley, Garth Brooks, Luke Bryan, Kenny Chesney, Eric Church, Alan Jackson, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, Brad Paisley, Reba, Blake Shelton, George Strait, Keith Urban, Brooks & Dunn, Florida Georgia Line, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, and Rascal Flatts.

Oh, Christina Aguilera and Nick Jonas will be performing, too! The lines between country and pop are definitely blurring. Inneresting!

Be sure to come back Sunday for full coverage of the ACM Awards.
