It's about time!
We've actually been very impressed with their tunes!
Taylor Momsen has dropped Gossip Girl to focus full-time on her band, The Pretty Reckless, and the actress/singer recently announced that they'll be hitting the road for a six-week tour across North America!
She explains:
“We’re busy rehearsing new songs. I’m excited to play them for our fans and give them a taste of what’s to come from The Pretty Reckless.”
Excellent!
And we're excited to hear them, gurl!

And you know what? We like it.
Taylor Momsen and The Pretty Reckless are touring Europe with Evanescence and even though they won't have any new material for a new album until 2012, they're still breathing new life into their show by doing a cover of The White Stripes' Seven Nation Army.
Taylor's voice totally fits this type of song. It's actually pretty good. And we're also really happy she's wearing a shirt. Nice job.
We think Jack White would be proud!
Watch (above) and tell us what U think of their cover.

With the royal nuptials only three months away, everyone on the Upper East Side is preparing for the big Gossip Girl wedding!
But who will be attending??
While executive producer Josh Safran has confirmed we won't be seeing the likes of little Jenny or Vanessa (ugh, good riddance) come back for the royal festivities, we WILL be seeing Georgina and her hubby!
Oooh, SNAP! …but how???
We highly doubt Blair Waldorf would invite the diabolical schemer so it leads us to wonder…who on The Inside will she call to help her crash??
Our bet is on Charlie! Remember their little favor exchange at the end of last season? Mmhmm, we bet that has something to do with it.
And with Charlie so desperate on having a perfect, fake life, we'd believe she'd do anything to keep it that way. Even if it means helping G out…
Most importantly though, will U be attending?? We just got our Save the Date! The ceremony will be held January 30 at the Royal CW Palace.
…til next time…XOXO

Attention Upper East-siders!
There's a very special episode of Gossip Girl coming this season, and it's apparently going to be a doozy!
That's right, the popular CW series will reach its 100th episode in January of 2012, and according to executive producer, Josh Safran, you will not want to miss it!
He explains:

Serena van der Woodsen's little brother is among the handful of those leaving the Upper East Side.
Joining Jessica Szohr and Taylor Momsen in a final curtain bow, Connor Paolo says farewell to Gossip Girl.
The young actor landed a sweet role on the new ABC show, Revenge, and juggling the two just isn't an option.
So what's going to his character? According to Paolo:

"I used to feel protective of Taylor, but now I think she could probably kick my ass.”

We're not surprised. We see where her head is at and she's all about the music.
In a recent interview with Elle Magazine, Taylor Momsen confirmed that she's quit Gossip Girl to concentrate on her music career. However, she added that not only is she done with the show, but that she is done with actin all together. In her mind, the biz got her where she wanted to go musically and now, she is fully committed to that. She explains:
