If you are one of David Hasselhoff's 369,946 followers on Twitter, than you've no doubt seen the numerous pictures of The Hoff down on bended knee, seemingly proposing to his girlfriend Hayley Roberts.

Everyone assumed that this was his public way of announcing the pair were getting hitched, but when asked for an official statement about the nuptials, The Hoff acted like he didn't know what everyone was going on about!

After the shellacking he took in the ratings in all his shows, Simon Cowell is planning a big overhaul for 2012.

Simon says he was humbled and that he was "smug and cocky" regarding his shows last year.

For a quick recap, X Factor UK and Britain's Got Talent ratings tanked, Red or Black did poorly and X Factor US failed to reach 20 million viewers.

A new species of crab was discovered, and scientists have named it the "Hoff" crab after, who else? David "The Hoff" Hasselhoff!

The name came from the fact that the crab has a hairy chest!

It's a species of the yeti crab, an appropriately named hairy, white crab.

The crabs like to hang out in huge clumps, at some points nearly 600 crabs per square meter.
