It's 'take back' time for rapper T.I. and fired Iron Man actor Terrence Howard.

Both have admitted to speaking insensitively before knowing all the facts surrounding the Chris Brown/Rihanna domestic assault case.

In his retraction statement Terrence said, "When they (paparazzi) asked me about Chris Brown the other day, I was in no way aware of what he had been accused of. Had I known, I would have never had said something so insensitive."

T.I. stated that his comments on Carson Daly's late night show were out of line because he, "made a mistake of commenting before understanding the situation."

Lesson learned, think before you open your trap!

When you get arrested for reportedly beating up your girlfriend, the last thing you need is some douchebag criminal talking about what a great guy you are.

Chris Brown's friend (and fellow a-hole) T.I. said he spoke to the alleged woman beater and that he's "cool."

In an interview on Carson Daly's talk show, T.I. - who's currently facing jail time starting next month for federal weapons charges - said he spoke to Brown on Monday.

“Yeah, I spoke to him today," said the rapper. "He cool, you know. I guess he a little concerned about the situation, but he’s still the same Chris.”

So Chris has always been a douchebag?

The ever so holy T.I. said he offered some advice, adding, “I told him this too shall pass."

Deep!

And T.I said people shouldn't be so quick to judge Brown, saying, “Hey man, you people gotta remember, we celebrities and we entertainers but we still human. All of us. Don’t expect us not to make mistakes ‘cause we will.”

Since when is beating on a woman a "mistake"?

IDIOT!!!!

Rapper T.I. stripped to his briefs during a gig at Jet Nightclub in Las Vegas on Monday night.

It was the rapper's last west coast performance before heading to prison next month as part of a plea deal for felony weapons charges.

Better hit the gym ASAP!

Rapper T.I. went to court in Atlanta on Tuesday to pony up $8,000 for his babymomm's legal fees.

He sure loves to spend time in court!

LaShon Dixon hit T.I. up for the cash when the rapper failed to pay the bills as part of an ongoing child support deal.

T.I.'s excuse? Oh, the order got lost when he changed assistants.

What a great father!

Though this matter is now settled, it ain't over yet! T.I. has to go back to court in March for a weapons charge sentencing for which he is expected to serve up to a year in the big house.

It's been a great year for T.I., but - whether he likes it or not - he's going to jail in '09 for those pesky gun charges.

So, he's got even more reason to celebrate this New Years Eve!

Producer Michael Satsky has him Performing on NYE at The Gansevoort South Beach Hotel.

T.I. is more interested in surrounding himself by actresses like Chloe Sevigny instead of machine guns these days.

He's livin' his life!

Fierce-a-saurus Tyra Banks welcomes rapper T.I. on her show, and the two discuss T.I.'s upcoming jail sentence, as well as his long-lost virginity.

T.I. admits that he was operating under some pretty poor judgment the night he was caught in an Atlanta parking lot conducting an illegal transaction for machine guns and silencers.

Machine guns? Was he trying to outfit a militia???

He says that after watching his friend die in his arms from a gunshot believed to be intended for the musician, he became paranoid, fearing for his life.

Of the incident, he says, "It was a tremendous amount of pain and a tremendous amount of blame put on myself…Everyone who leaves Atlanta with me is my responsibility and if they don't make it back home to their families then I'm responsible, and he didn't make it back."

But he reacted inappropriately, saying, "It's more powerful to walk with God than walk with guns any day."

Now he faces a year in the slammer, of which he reassures Tyra he isn't afraid.

"I'm not afraid of anything but God. I mean God will never take me to what he can't take me through."

And then, for whatever reason, he lets us know that he lost his virginity at 11, adding, "If it makes it any better we had two kids together later on."

Uh….
