Thank goodness for Tim Gunn's willingness to speak out!
When so many in the fashion industry seem too afraid to say a word, he comes right out and says what everyone is thinking!

After scolding the fashion world for refusing to design for plus-size women, the Project Runway co-host has turned his sights on Kanye West's Yeezy Season 4, and his words are not flattering.
Speaking with Access Hollywood on September 13, the 63-year-old said:
Tim Gunn with the mic drop!
The co-host of Project Runway has written an essay for the Washington Post lamenting the lack of designers willing to make beautiful clothing for plus-size women.

"I love the American fashion industry, but it has a lot of problems, and one of them is the baffling way it has turned its back on plus-size women. It's a puzzling conundrum. The average American woman now wears between a size 16 and a size 18. But many designers — dripping with disdain, lacking imagination or simply too cowardly to take a risk — still refuse to make clothes for them."
The Emmy winner dishes out facts that are hard to ignore, explaining that plus-size women are actually spending more money on clothing than straight-size women.
Still, mainstream designers rarely if ever offer clothing above a size 12.
It's not just YOU, Perezcious readers, who really dislike the Kardashians!
Tim Gunn is the latest celebrity to express his resentment of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, and he even goes after Kanye West!

The Project Runway mentor recently went in on the contentious family during an interview, calling them "vulgar" and surrounded by an "aura of yuck." Well, then!
As for Kanye, he refers to his clothing as "dumb" and "basic."
Tim also admits that "the whole Kardashian clan doesn't like me." Indeed?! We'd never have guessed.

Ha! This is gold!
Honestly, once Anna Wintour accepted the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, there was really nowhere else for other fashion peeps to go.
If the grand dame of fashion did it (and ruined her shiny bob), then everyone had to do it! Rule #76, no excuses!
Enter the unflappable, always pristine Tim Gunn, who was nominated by Heidi Klum and got doused by Heidi herself while wearing an immaculate suit during the Project Runway presentation in NYC today!
He's three weeks fashionably late, but we'll let it slide.

Anna Wintour's wrath is not something that abates easily!
Tim Gunn found this out personally when he wrote about the Vogue editor in his 2010 book Gunn's Golden Rules, detailing the time he saw her carried down a flight of stairs by her security guards to avoid taking the elevator.
Even though it has been four years since the whole thing, and most people have probably forgotten about it, Tim claims that Anna still holds a grudge!

Project Runway’s Tim Gunn is both openly gay and a staunch supporter of the LGBT community.
Which is why MANY were surprised when he recently admitted he’s against the use of transgender models in the fashion industry!
What the whaaaa??
He doesn’t even think Barneys’ spring campaign, which stars 17 transgender models, was all that progressive!!
Why? In his opinion,
