But why were they even there?!

Guess little Suri Cruise enjoyed visiting the animal friends at the zoo earlier in the week so much that she may be looking to take one home on a permanent basis!
The daughter of Tom Cruise was spotted once again out and about with mom Katie Holmes yesterday in New York City when the pair stopped by a high-end pet shop to apparently investigate the possibility of taking one of the puppies home with them!
Witnesses say that
And what Tom Cruise wants….Tom Cruise gets!
The real star of Rock of Ages, Mickey the Baboon, was the brainchild of Cruise and his interpretation of Stacee Jaxx, an out-of-control 80's rocker.
In the opening scene, Stacee demands his manager (Paul Giamatti) get him a pet monkey and - enter the baboon.
But instead of using CGI, Tom and director Adam Shankman needed the real deal, and that has made a few conservationists and animal advocates upset.
Primal Patrol is even asking for a boycott of the flick, stating:
Please avoid contributing to the box office receipts for ‘Rock of Ages’ – don’t go see it! Monkeys used for entertainment are taken from their mothers when they are young, and when they become to old or too big to handle are often discarded at shoddy roadside zoos or pseudo ‘sanctuaries.’
They are highly social beings and life in the entertainment industry completely disregards the need that they have for adequate exercise, natural nourishing diets, and valuable interaction with other primates. Primates are afflicted by loneliness, boredom, and depression from the loss of freedom they experience in the entertainment industry.
We'll see if Tom and co. made the right choice for 10 minutes of video.
Who needs Tom Cruise when you've got this dog!
A dog finds himself in a tough spot when he's surrounding by a chain linked fence.
Fortunately, that's not enough security to stop this pooch!
Pulling off his best Mission Impossible technique, the harrowing doggie scales a tree.
Next stop, the precious diamond incrusted doggie treat! LOLz!
We're already going ape shiz over this movie!
Rock of Ages will gracing the silver screen this summer but we already know who we're most excited to see!
Mickey the Baboon! Sorry, Tom!
Director Adam Shankman tweeted the photo of Mickey in an aDORable sailor costume.
This primate is WAY TOO CUTEZ!
We know who'll be stealing hearts when this movie comes out!

Aw… so sweet!
Julianne Hough is excited to be starring in the movie version of Rock of Ages opposite Tom Cruise.
But when she's on the Miami set of the musical, the actress/singer/dancer stays grounded with her two furry BFFs, Lexi and Harley. Julianne says:
"They go everywhere with me. They are on set all the time, we take long walks. Adam Shankman, the director, has his two dogs there, too, so we've had a groomer come on set. It's pretty funny. Being away from family and everything, it sometimes is tough. You go through your good days and your bad days. Having my dogs with me is literally my safe place. They're always there giving me joy and comfort and love."
Her affectionate Cavalier King Charles spaniels is so strong that they inspired her to travel to NYC Monday to launch the voting campaign for the Hero Dog Awards, which will air on the Hallmark Channel in November.
On the website herodogawards.org, you can cast your vote for the most amazing canines. For each vote, Cesar Canine cuisine will make a donation to the American Humane Association, an animal advocacy group.
Vote! It's a fast and free way to do a little good.
