That's right, we've compiled the GIFs of the best moments, so... yes, you ARE welcome!
Without further ado, here's our GIF recap!
Tom Hanks is an actor and a diabetic, so his physical fitness is verrrry important.
Not only does he need to exercise to look good on camera, but he has to keep his blood sugar levels under control, as well!
In fact, exercise is a good way to ward off stress and relieve negative feelings too….Like when an actor gets snubbed by the Oscars!!
Tom didn't receive any nomination for either his work in Captain Phillips or Saving Mr. Banks!
Guess the Academy just wasn't feeling either of his recent movies.
That's okay, Tom! The best thing to do is to work off all that angst, which is exactly what he did by hitting the streets of Santa Monica to get his jog on and sweat out the snub.
Way to use fitness as an outlet, Tom! Besides, you'll always be T.Hanks/Tam Honks to us!!!

As if we needed more proof that Tom Hanks is one of the nicest guys on the planet, here it is!
Way back in March, devoted fan Sarah Moretti, a young woman autism, got a chance to go backstage at his Broadway play Lucky Guy!
But she had NO idea she was actually going to get the chance to meet her favorite actor in the flesh!!
Tom proved to be an absolute class act as he hugged Sarah and gushed over the scrapbook she made containing news clippings and photos throughout his career!
He even joked!
"My mom doesn't have something like this!"
Awww! How sweet!
Tom went on to shower her with love and even signed everything she had to throw at him! Talk about a lucky girl!
Ch-ch-check out Tom further proving he's one of the nicest guys ever …AFTER THE JUMP!!!
It was actually Tom Hanks that gave Matthew the advice on how to extremely slim down for the role!
Here's what Matthew said:
While the news came as a shock, his Type 2 is extremely manageable! He's using diet and exercise to control it, and it sounds like he won't be very different at all when it comes to his everyday life and career.
Except one thing we didn't even realize: he can't
All kidding aside, it's a bummer to hear from Tom Hanks that he has type-2 diabetes, which in most cases is pretty avoidable. What's strange is that he's always been in decent shape, and type-2 usually hits those who are not!
That's not the only strange thing, either — apparently he's been experiencing symptoms for TWENTY YEARS. Twenty years, and he has just recently been officially diagnosed!
The 57-year-old we all wish was a father figure in our lives (and star of the upcoming modern pirate movie Captain Phillips) admitted to having the common form of diabetes in an interview with David Letterman. He's not alone in Hollywood, either: Halle Berry, Patti Labelle, Drew Carey and Chaka Khan all have it too.
He also spoke about how his doctor broke the news to him:
