Daniel Craig has officially been over playing James Bond for a while now, and we've been hearing a lot of names come up as contenders to take over playing the British superspy.

Over the past few months, stars like Idris Elba, Tom Hardy, and even Gillian Anderson have received tons of fan support to take over the iconic role.

But it looks like fan favorite contender Tom Hiddleston is still the frontrunner to to suit up as the next 007!

According to Birth.Movies.Death, the star of spy miniseries The Night Manager is in "advanced talks" to take over the role — but Loki fans shouldn't get too excited just yet!

Video: Tom Talks Possibly Playing Bond On Jimmy Kimmel!

While the actor has made no secret of his desires to play Bond, no official offer has been made as of now.

Not only has that, but Hiddleston isn't been the only actor the studio has been talking to. It was recently reported Jamie Bell has also been talking to producers to be Craig's successor!

Though the Billy Elliot star's involvement could just be the studio's attempt to drive Hiddleston's price down, we wouldn't mind seeing either hunky Brit take over the franchise!

But let's be honest, can literally ANYONE look better in a tux than Tom? (See the above photo for answer.)

Which actor would YOU want to see play the next 007?
