Tom Hardy will never be able to live this down.

Tom Hardy will forever have to remember losing a bet to Leonardo DiCaprio!

Back in 2016, the Brit revealed to Esquire UK how he and Leo made a bet over who would receive an Oscars nom for their film The Revenant. With the Titanic star predicting Hardy would get nominated, and Hardy saying he wouldn't, the loser would have to get a tattoo with the winner's name.

As time would tell, Leo won that bet!

Tom revealed in the interview that his friend chose quite the text for that tat:

"He wrote, in this really shitty handwriting: 'Leo knows everything.' Ha! I was like, 'OK, I'll get it done, but you have to write it properly.'"

And apparently the 40-year-old is a man of his word as a recent fan pic revealed the fairly large new ink with "Leo knows all" written on his bicep! See (below):

Before Tom Hardy was starring in blockbuster films, he was an aspiring rapper. No, really!

In a 2011 interview with BBC Newsbeat, Hardy revealed he even landed a recording deal before moving into the acting game, admitting he "recorded loads of stuff" that was never released.

But Hardy's musical career isn't going unnoticed anymore. Earlier this month, BAFTA-winning television writer Edward Tracy uploaded a mixtape of the unfinished beats to Bandcamp — and tbh, it's kind of fire!

A then-22-year-old Hardy co-wrote and performed the lyrics in 1999 under the name Tommy No. 1. Tracy, going by Eddie Too Tall, co-wrote and produced the 18-track compilation.

Tracy said he decided to release the album, titled Falling on your Arse in 1999, because the Mad Max: Fury Road star recently asked about it. He even joked that a tour could be in the future if reception is positive enough, telling Complex:

Guys. He's called Mad Max. Not Gentle Max.

Tom Hardy proved he's not just an action star on film Sunday when he helped the cops nab a crook in real life!

It all started when a couple South London thieves ran a red light on a stolen moped, only to crash into a Mercedes. One was too injured to run and was quickly apprehended by police, but the other bolted — and that's when Tom sprang into action.

Apparently without a thought for his own safety, Tom ran after the perp, down the street, through gardens, even leaping over a wall!

Eyewitness Arun Pullen, whose yard Tom dashed through, described the incident right out of a film to The Sun, saying:

Prejudice, National Pride, & Batman Villain Quotes — Here's Donald Trump's Full First Presidential Speech

And in his first words as our new POTUS, Donald Trump is already drawing upon the inspiration of other cartoonish villains.

Not only did he say "there is no room for prejudice" (ha!) and extoll "national pride" (pretty sure that was a wink to you, Alt-Right!), he also very nearly quoted… Tom Hardy?

Yep, Trump said:

"…we are not merely transferring power from one administration to another or from one party to another, but we are transferring power from Washington, D.C., and giving it back to you, the people."

Which sounded quite similar — though more ominous — than when The Dark Knight Rises villain Bane said:

"We take Gotham from the corrupt! The rich! The oppressors of generations who have kept you down with myths of opportunity. And we give it to you, the people."

Funny, we always thought of Trump as Lex Luthor.

If that's not your taste, you might enjoy looking at a scantily-clad Tom Hardy in his new FX miniseries Taboo — or watching Drew Barrymore go on a juice cleanse in the upcoming Netflix comedy Santa Clarita Diet!
