The hills are alive with…positivity and encouragement!
After being awarded the iconic role of Maria in NBC's live version of The Sound Of Music, Carrie Underwood was probably thrilled to take on the 3 hour stage challenge!
But she should be even more ecstatic the originator of the movie role, Julie Andrews, is backing the country singer's upcoming performance with endless support!
In a new interview, Miz Andrews gave the December 5 television event the ultimate stamp of approval:
Can you believe Hugh Jackman turns 45 years old today?! He looks incredible! And he sounds pretty darn good too!
We'd love to sing you Happy Birthday, Hugh, but unfortunately that shiz is WAY too expensive!
Instead we decided to honor you with your own songs- your best actually! So here they are, The Wolverine himself in his top 5 musical performances!
We knew Neil Patrick Harris was the perfect choice to host the Emmy Awards!
Just ask every other host ever!
Ch-ch-check out the video (above) to see NPH get by with a little help from his friends - and former hosts - Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon, Jane Lynch, and Conan O'Brien.
OK, so he didn't top his legendary Tony Awards opening. But really, how could he?
At least this time Tina Fey and Amy Poehler were there to heckle! LOLz!
We bet when Broadway star Patina Miller found out that she was going to be in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Parts 1 & 2 she was speechless as an Avox!
The Tony award-winning actress will take on President Snow (and his blood scented bad breath) as Commander Paylor, leader of the rebellion in District 8!
So, say goodbye to the Great White Way, Patina, and say hello to the dangerous road that leads to the booby-trapped Capitol.
You go gurl! Tell that authoritative government that if you burn, they burn with you!

Bobby Steggert may be singing all about lies onstage, but in real life he's ready to sing the truth!
The Tony Award-nominated actor came out of the closet in a new interview with Out magazine!
Bobby talked acting, and how important it was to him to play gay characters with as much truth as possible. He said:
"I think it's a gay actor's responsibility to give full-blooded life to gay characters."
Yes! This is so important! And we love the casual coming out! Some day soon it won't be a big deal at all!
As for Bobby, you can see the cutie currently belting out the tunes (and jerking the tears from what we hear) in previews of the much-anticipated musical Big Fish which has its grand opening on October 5th.
We are so there!

Neil Patrick Harris isn't just our favorite Tonys host- he's one of our favorite people on the planet!
And it's not just because he poised to star in one of our favorite musicals of all time! (Though, it helps!)
That's why we loved seeing the ever dashing and debonair NPH when stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday evening.
Of course, once the How I Met Your Mother star sat down across from funnyman Jimmy Kimmel, he traded the suave for silly, suggesting that everyone do drugs before seeing The Smurfs 2!
But NPH got serious again, swapping Emmys hosting tips with fellow host Jimmy.
Ch-ch-check out all of their HIGHlarious interview, including an ADORABLE home video of the twins …AFTER THE JUMP!!!
Kermit & Miss Piggy are finally coming to Broadway!!
Disney Theatrical Productions & Tony-nominated director Alex Timbers put together a live Muppets stage show last month and tested out the feasibility on an audience of staffers!
The showcase was only 15 minutes long, but it could be a preamble to a legitimate Broadway incarnation!!
Hooray!!! This is the truly the most wondrous news we've heard all
day week month EVER!!!
Can you imagine next year's Tony's if Neil Patrick Harris AND Fozzie Bear get to tap dance on stage in their
bare bear feet!
Wocka Wocka, we can't wait!!
