We guess there's a reason they call him Tony Hawk! Because he can flat out FLY!!
Over the past few decades, the legendary skateboarder has gained a reputation for his inventive tricks and death defying stunts, but at age 46 you'd think he would slow down a bit, right?
In Tony Hawk's world, noise can be VERY important! Whether he's listening to the roar of the crowd or hearing his wheels against the pavement, it truly does help him be the best he can be!
Unfortunately, not everyone has the same luxury of hearing that he does, so he decided to give back in the most amazing way possible!
Tony teamed up with
XGames: Where bromances blossom!
That's a free slogan, if they wanna use it! LOLz!
They can ride their skateboards and go thrift shopping together! It'll be magical!
We hope they remember what day they met, so next year's anniversary goes smoothly! Ha!
Lookin' good, guys! We think Mack should bring Tony on tour with him!!

Tony Hawk is arguably the most famous skateboarder to have ever lived — his name is known in households that couldn't even tell you what a skateboard is! LOLz!
Now, he's being honored for being such a badass in the sport!
The deck that started it all, Tony's first ever skateboard, is finding a home in the Smithsonian! You can see a photo of it (above), because Tony just posted it!
Honestly — and we're gonna sound like Indian Jones here — we think that thing BELONGS in a museum! We're sure it's worth a fortune right now, and we're happy Tony went this route instead of just trying to make a quick buck!
The funny thing is, this will be the second Tony Hawk board in the museum! He donated one of his faves that he rode in 1987 a few years ago!

Tony posted the picture with this caption:
"Livin' large in '86"
We're willing to bet that he had some of those usual teenage annoyances, but we're sure he was a well-rounded kid back then too!
We mean, just look at that pic! Anyone with hair that blonde has to be a sweetheart! LOLz!
Keep sharin' pics like these, Tony! You've come a loooooong way!

We totally agree with this!!
Tony Hawk is on a warpath to get skateboarding to be recognized as an official Olympic sport — and we say, if snowboarding is allowed, why isn't skateboarding??
Tony was asked about wrestling getting the Olympic boot, here's what he had to say:
Tony Hawk is doing good in the world, and we'll never get tired of those in positions to make major positive impacts taking the opportunity to do so!
Tony has partnered up with Operation Smile, and is making some big waves!!
In this interview, he talks all about what drives him to help, how he helps, and what he wants for the future! Check it out:
