Tracy Morgan has made tremendous strides in his recovery since the 2014 car accident where he suffered a traumatic brain injury. Just last month he was able to successfully host Saturday Night Live and will begin his next stand up tour Picking Up The Pieces in February.
In a new interview with Complex mag, the 47-year-old shared his experience with a higher power and how is life is forever changed after the accident.
When asked if the comedian has resumed life as normal, he responded:
"You're never going to be normal after you go through something like that. You don't die for a few weeks and then come back to normal, trust me. Something's going to be missing, something's going to be gained—you just got to live your life after that. But after surviving something like that, I'm probably never going to feel normal. I went to the other side. This is not something I'm making up. Do you know what God said to me? He said, "Your room ain't ready. I still got something for you to do." And here I am, doing an interview with you."
Wow. What an incredible story.
So what does the 30 Rock alum have in store for the future? He said that he tries to live in the moment these days:
"I try not to do that. Just living my life, man. When the sun's up, I try to get it on and poppin'. When the sun is up, I try to make it happen. That's what I'm doing, whatever it is! I'm going to do it until I'm satisfied."
We are so glad the funny man is back in action!

This is so adorable!
Well now the 47-year-old has started to open up about his recovery and return to comedy. In an interview with ET, Tracy said:
Tracy Morgan is back! And he's going to get all these animals pregnant!
That must be why he decided to buy the Bronx Zoo — well at least that was the joke for a sketch on Jimmy Kimmel Live!.
Morgan took the late night host and his trusty companion Guillermo out on a tour of the Zoo — you know since he owns it now — and showed them all the behind-the-scenes action.
Not only did Tracy reveal he got custom detailing on his Zebras, but he's got a hidden talent of singing Marvin Gaye's Let's Get It On to giraffes to help get them in the baby-making mood!

Tracy Morgan is going full speed ahead!
The Fist Fight actor will hit up six Caesars Entertainment properties nationwide, beginning February 5 at the Horseshoe Hammond Casino in the Chicago area!
The 46-year-old isn't too worried about getting back on tour after last year's fatal highway accident that put him in critical condition. He said:
"It's just like falling off a bike and getting back on, that's all: you don't forget where the pedals are."
The actor promised to deliver "more of what I did before" in his upcoming standup routine, revealing:
"It's me: funny + truth = Tracy Morgan. I can't wait to get back to y'all; city to city, state to state, watch me operate."
Want to see Tracy operate in person? Tickets will go on sale on October 30 at TicketMaster.com!
