OMG, Vince Vaughn Is BALD! See The Unrecognizable Pic PLUS 19 Other Stars Who Shaved Their Heads For A Movie!

Vince Vaughn is gearing up for the career comeback we've been waiting for, and his newest role is already grabbing our attention!

That's because when the True Detective star stepped out on Thursday, he was completely and spectacularly bald!

The 46-year-old was running errands in New York, and looked vastly different from his appearance at the Venice Film Festival earlier this week for Mel Gibson's new film Hacksaw Ridge — when he was still rocking his beautiful 'do (R.I.P.).

Vaughn ditched his follicles for his upcoming role in the thriller Brawl in Cell Block 99, where he will play a boxer turned drug courier who lands in a prison battleground after a deal goes deadly.

That's pretty far way from his wheelhouse of playing smooth-talking characters with great hair. But we guess shaving his head means he's taking the role seriously!

Of course, Vaughn is far from the first actor to shave a head for a movie…

True Detective May Not Return For Season 3! Vote If YOU Think The HBO Drama Deserves To Die!

A lot can change in just two short years…

When True Detective first premiered back in 2014, the Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson-led drama was being called the best show on TV!

However, lightning failed to strike twice as the second outing with Rachel McAdams, Vince Vaughn, Colin Farrell, and Taylor Kitsch lost most of the critical acclaim that made the series a hit in the first place.

Well, it sounds as though HBO hated Season Two just as much as the rest of us… because we're hearing that TD may not get renewed for Season Three!

While nothing has been confirmed, things aren't looking good now that Nic Pizzolatto has signed on to other projects with the premium cable network.

Do U think True Detective deserves another year of mystery??

Finally, a worthy adversary!

After playing countless rounds of his late night game, Jimmy Fallon has become a pro at detecting if his guests are lying or not about what items are hidden inside their mystery boxes.

But when Vince Vaughn stopped by The Tonight Show on Thursday, it was clear he was the king of deception — because he totally DESTROYED Fallon in a game of Box Of Lies!

Video: Fallon & Jennifer Lopez Say 'EW!' To EVERYTHING!

The True Detective actor breezed through both rounds of the game, intimidating the host with his stone cold expression and misleading clues.

Jimmy fell to the ground in defeat (literally) after only two rounds, but Vince was a good sport — picking the host off the ground and declaring him "the champ."

Obviously people were not into Season 2 of True Detective nearly as much as the award-winning original.
