Local radio there is reporting that Usher's been at an area hospital with Tameka Foster since yesterday.

Apparently, she's in pre-term labor.

Or, maybe the stress of her aborted wedding got to her?

Usher wedding was derailed by one woman, his mother - Jonetta Patton.

The singer has been estranged from his mom for a while now, since he and his shady fiancee ten years his senior, Tameka Foster, have been together.

The singer is said to have flown back to Atlanta on Sunday to apologize to his mom and try to make amends, the New York Daily News is reporting.

"The reason he called off the ceremony is that he couldn't go through with it without Jonetta," one insider tells the paper. "He had an eleventh-hour epiphany."

The nuptials appeared to be going full-steam ahead late last week. After some negotiation, Foster had signed a prenuptial agreement, according to people close to the singer. "Usher conceded to some of her terms," said one source.

On Thursday night, he had his bachelor party. But, on Friday, "he started having second thoughts again," said a source. "He was obviously troubled that Jonetta wasn't coming."

For weeks, it had been unclear whether there was a wedding hall big enough to hold Patton and Foster, who've long been at odds. Last week, sources said, Foster agreed that Patton could come to the wedding - but, by then, Patton had resolved to stay in Atlanta.

"Usher woke up on Saturday and said he couldn't go through with it," said a source. "Apparently, he also couldn't bring himself to call all the people who were invited. He had the wedding planner call everyone in the wedding party."

The word also went out to stunned guests who were about to board a shuttle bus from a nearby inn to the Sagaponack estate of Island Def Jam chief Antonio (L.A.) Reid. Foster was furious: "She was marching around, cursing," said a source.

Also factoring into the crisis was a National Enquirer story alleging that Foster had served time for petty crimes and had once dated a drug dealer killed in an ambush.

The story quoted Foster's half-sister, Valencia Foster, as saying, "Poor Usher has no idea who he's marrying."

For a decade Usher and his mom were inseparable. She functioned as his manager and traveled with him.

All that changed when Foster entered the picture!

Shortly before Mother's Day this year, Usher announced that his mom, who had guided him toward superstardom, would no longer be his manager. He denied that Foster planned to take over the role Patton once held.

Not only is Foster ten years older than Usher, but she's also a divorced mother of three and had at one point worked as Usher's stylist - only to be forced out by his wise manager-mother, who knew better.

Once she became Usher's gal pal, she began to have confrontations with several of his longtime friends and handlers.

It is unknown if Foster flew with Usher to Atlanta or if they even remain a couple.

Usher's "surprise" wedding to his ten-years-older pregnant fiance, Tameka Foster, imploded in his face when the ceremony was cancelled at the last minute on Saturday.

It is unclear if the pair are still even a couple.

According to The New York Daily News:

- Some guests speculated Usher was furious after discovering his intended had concealed details of her past. Late last week, the National Enquirer reported that Foster was an ex-con whose drug-dealing ex-lover had been gunned down.

- Others suggested the bride, who has three children from a previous marriage, may have balked at signing a prenup.

- Still others wondered whether the long-standing enmity between Foster and Usher's mother was to blame. In May, the singer fired his mom, Jonetta Patton, from her job as his manager, allegedly at Foster's prompting. "Jonetta was invited to the wedding at the last minute, but she didn't want to go," a source told the Daily News. "She's not a hypocrite. As much as she loves her son, she's not going to pretend that everything's fine," the source said.

According to People:

- "Usher's mother [and former manager, Jonetta Patton, whom he fired in May] is against the wedding. That is one of the main obstacles," a source tells the mag.

- Also, "They only decided two weeks ago to have a wedding. They wanted to have it take place before the baby bump started showing."

- "The tents were up," an insider tells People. "And they paid all of the people, the vendors, so that wasn't an issue. … Hotel rooms were an issue. Janet [Jackson] was coming, but she had eight security people. Ashanti and Nelly were coming."

- Usher and Foster also  "had a lot of differences about the details. For example, the bride wanted barbeque, [and] he wanted to have [renowned chef] Jean Georges cook," said the source.

- As a result of the differences, the wedding "was on again off again for the past few days. [Foster] was calling it off because she wasn't getting the things that she wanted. The mother was calling it off. … Usher was calling it off."

According to Life & Style Weekly:

- Usher invited his previously estranged father to the ceremony, along with his godfather, Ben Vereen. Singer Robin Thicke was to perform at the affair, organized by famed wedding planner Diann Valentine and catered by Harlem chef Sylvia.

- The multimillion-dollar couple had registered with Crate & Barrel and Williams-Sonoma, asking for items such as $8 asparagus tongs and a $4,000 espresso maker. One guest called that decision "tacky." "You'd think that he'd invite people to give to a favorite charity," the source said. "Does he really need another toaster?"

Damn!

Usher and his pregnant fiancee, Tameka Foster, were supposed to get married in the Hamptons home of music mogul LA Reid on Saturday, only to have the wedding cancelled hours before the event.

Some dramz went down!!!

The singer's publicist has released this statement, "It was announced today that the wedding ceremony for Usher Raymond, IV and Tameka Foster was canceled. No additional information will be given regarding the circumstances of the cancellation, but we hope the privacy of this matter will be respected."

The flowers. The decoration. The cake. All gone to waste!

Usher and his fiancee, Tameka Foster, are expecting a child together.

Usher (or Usherette) is due in the fall.

The couple released the following statement on Wednesday:

"We are extremely excited at this point in our lives planning our wedding and the joy that comes with expecting our first child together. We hope people will be happy for us and respect our privacy during this happy period in our lives."

Why does everybody want their freaking privacy respected???

We want somebody to say, "Invade our privacy….but pay us for it!"
