Famously thinned-out actress Valerie Bertinelli isn't giving up her "comeback" any time soon.

Her new book, Finding It: And Satisfying My Hunger for Life without Opening the Fridge, goes on sale October 6th and is being billed as "the story of what happens after you change your life."

Meh.

She looks great, but we're not sure if we care anymore.

We mentioned earlier that Jenny Craig spokeswoman Valerie Bertinelli has reached out to former spokeswhore Kirstie Alley to help her get back to a healthy weight.

Well, she's taken it a step further now: Bertinelli wants to be Alley's mentor!

That's kind of a slap in the face since Kirstie was Valerie's mentor once upon a time.

How the tables have turned!

Valerie told ABC's Nightline: "I'll hold her hand. Oh, I would just - I'm telling you - I think it would be the greatest thing. There's so many people that come up to me wherever I am, and they say I was on the program a couple of years ago, and then I stopped, and then I see that you've had success, so I'm coming back. It's not a bad thing to stop something and come back to it. You're not a failure. You're never a failure. As long as you keep getting back up."

Hear that Kirstie? You're not a failure. Fat, but not a failure. Unless you stay fat- then you are failure! We kid. We kid.

Move over Queen Latifah, Wynonna and Valerie Bertinelli, there's a new weight loss bitch in town!

NutriSystem has just announced their latest spokesperson - The Go-Go's Belinda Carlisle.

At least it wasn't the Walk Like An Egyptian chick!

According to the company's press release, Carlisle wanted to shed 20 pounds before her 50th birthday last year. That's when the singer turned to NutriSystem's weight loss program.

Now Belinda is said to be "more energetic today than ever before."

In a recent interview Belinda says, “It’s pretty well known that I’ve struggled with my weight. I’m not about deprivation at all. When I moved to the south of France 10 years ago it taught me to celebrate food and not make it an enemy — people in my business usually do. When this came along it was really easy for me.”

From sitcom star to fatty spokeswhore and now? TV Talk show host!

Valerie Bertinelli, the former One Day at a Time star, has just signed on to a deal with CBS to develop a new syndicated talk show. The show is expected to be on air as early as 2009-2010.

We'd watch.

She's admitted to being a slut and a druggie in the past. She's got a lot to talk about!

Bertinelli is also banking on the success of her recent autobiography, Losing It: And Gaining My Life Back One Pound at a Time. Lots of fat talk. It usually sells. We should buy it!

Aside from the book, she is also starring in an upcoming Lifetime movie, True Confessions of a Hollywood Starlet, and there's an A&E Biography on her in the works.

Valerie must be celebrating, she's slowly getting her career moving again.

Kirstie Alley must be pissed! Jenny Craig didn't help get her career back.
