TV Land has canceled its longest running original series Hot In Cleveland!
Not only did the series premiere to stellar ratings, it even had enough to go around, spinning off the Cedric The Entertainer series The Soul Man.
To their credit, TV Land seemed to drop the axe with a sense of reverence. In their official statement, the network said:
Bonnie Franklin and Valerie Bertinelli's friendship went back 40 years from the time they co-starred on One Day at a Time together, so it is no surprise that Valerie was heartbroken to hear the news of Bonnie's death today as a result of complications involving pancreatic cancer.
In response to the 69-year-old's passing, Valerie said:
Hot In Cleveland producers have announced a list of guest stars set to appear on it's 4th season — and it includes some puuuurdy big names!
We are oh so pleased to hear that Regis Philbin will appear again as
Heather Locklear is headed to Ohio!
The blonde bombshell has joined the cast of Hot In Cleveland!

The duo will guest star as an engaged couple on Hot in Cleveland. J Love returns as Wendie Malick's daughter while Joe is Valerie Bertinelli's son.
And the moms are NOT HAVING IT!
The moms of the burgeoning couple try to meddle in their kids' relationship but end up letting their offspring figure it out by themselves.

J. Love plays Wendie Malick's daughter who couples up with Valerie Bertinelli's son, played by Joe.
The two spent some time on set answering some fun facts about themselves, including whether or not they enjoy singing karaoke. Turns out, Joe LOVES singing the girl parts.
