Venus Coming Back

What would tennis be without her??

It's true! Venus Williams has vowed to rise again after her illness!

She has been diagnosed with an incurable illness called Sjogren's syndrome, which affects energy levels and causes pain in the joints.

Here's what she said:

"I just didn't feel well before my second-round match, to the point where I couldn't play. At the beginning of the tournament, I wasn't sure how far I would get or what I would do, I was kind of living on a hope and a dream. When you don't feel well and things are taken away from you, it's hard to stay positive. But, for me, it is not an option to get negative or to feel sorry for myself. It's easy to say, 'I've done enough' -- or it would be easy to go on a permanent vacation. But I need to look back and know that I gave everything. I know I still have so much more. Before I was sick I was on top of the world in singles and doubles. So that's my goal, to return to that.

"I'm looking forward to coming back. Sjogren's syndrome definitely changed my life, it changed everything. It changed how I eat, it changed my whole life."

We are so impressed by her tenacity. Especially with something that incurable.

So how will she do it?

She plans to manage it like this:

"I don't think the road will be perfect, but I think I can get it as close to perfect as possible. My hope is to be symptom-free one day. I work with my doctors on that, but also I work on my diet, which I've found has been huge. With Sjogren's you deal with a lot of fatigue and joint pain and inflammation. It's because of the things I'm eating. I've started eating raw, vegan, unprocessed foods, doing lots of juicing, I juice twice a day. I drink wheatgrass. For me, it's worth doing everything I can to get back to what I love doing."

Fab!

The power of diet is incredible, as long as you're getting everything you need!

We'd love to see you back in action, Venus! Good luck!

He looks good!

Check out this sneak peek of Brian Austin Green on the season premiere of Desperate Housewives as a new love interest for Bree played by Marcia Cross.

But apparently Vanessa Williams's character Renee is going to make a play for him, too!

Loves the drama!

The stars came out in force Monday night to support the Miami Dolphins in their season opener against the Indianapolis Colts at the Miami Land Shark Stadium.

In attendance were the Dolphin's new part-owners, the lovely Gloria Estefan and her hubby Emilio Estefan.

Also at the game was Jennifer Lopez accompanied by her hubby, Marc Anthony.

The couple also became a minority partner in the Dolphins back this summer and it seems they're taking their new role seriously. In fact, Skeletor told reporters they just purchased a condo in Miami.

Says Anthony, "I bought a condo today in Miami. When we are through decorating the condo, it will be the sexiest place in town! We are not selling our homes in New York or Los Angeles, we are just adding Miami. Now that I am involved with the Dolphins, I am busy working and see a different set of stresses than I experience being a father. So I want to be close by. And we love Miami."

Also in attendance was new part-owner Serena Williams, her sis Venus Williams, Tiger Woods, Jimmy Buffett, Dan Marino, T-Pain, and others.

Though despite all the star power at the stadium, the Dolphins still managed to lose 27-23.

We hope all the new part owners didn't invest too much!

Venus Williams was spotted in the stands cheering sister Serena on to her amazing U.S. Open win this past Sunday.

Venus' new look is sooo Diana Ross.

In our opinion, divalicious Diana rocks the look best.

What do U think?

Williams Beats Williams

Usually when Venus and Serena Williams play against each other, it's a shitty match to watch.

Thankfully, that wasn't the case at the Wimbledon Women's Finals on Saturday.

This time, Venus prevailed.

After losing five Grand Slam titles to her little sister, V took the prized Wimbledon title 7-5, 6-4.

AND, the Williams sisters also won the women's doubles championship.

Congrats!
