Yep, word on the street has it that the sixth and seventh installments of the Fast and the Furious franchise will be filmed back to back, working on one interlinking plot.

Chris Morgan is currently deciding what the hell this one is gonna be about finalizing the story. And many fingers point to F&F vet Justin Lin to return in the director's chair.

Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, and The Rock are all returning of course, but

Vin Diesel Talks New Riddick Flick

vin diesel talks new riddick flick

How ironic that the guy who starred in seventeen Fast & Furious flicks seems to have so much artistic integrity!

Last we heard about the upcoming Riddick flick, Vin Diesel was saying that he'd be taking a major pay cut in an effort to get the movie made.

Now, Vin has opened up further about the next Riddick movie on his Facebook page.

Here's what he had to say about it:

I hear you…

While I was working on character, the Director and his team of artists have been creating the world and style of this picture. We all know how much I enjoy concept art and storyboards, haha, I am like a kid in a candy shop.

Seeing the early stage of CGI is always fascinating to me, it is a element that usually comes together long after the filming process, so you look forward to seeing it fully realized.

First stop for the Riddick production is Canada, which is where we shot a large part of Chronicles…

P.s. I am grateful to have Universal in such support of this complex character's journey… not many studios would back an "R" rating. Very cool.

Glad to hear it, Vin! Sounds like this one could def be a step up from Chronicles!

What do U think? Are U excited for another R-rated Riddick movie???

Fast And Furious 6 Gets A Release Date!

Filed under: Film Flickers > Vin Diesel

fast-and-furious-6-gets-2013-release-date.jpg

With Fast and Furious being the moneymaking machine that it is, the franchise is coming back for a Part 6! AND, there's already a release date!

Director Justin Lin confirmed that FF6 will be set for a Memorial Day 2013 release. The movie will reunite cast members from the previous five films, including of course, Vin Diesel, who's also producing the film.

With Fast Five making $600 million worldwide, this comes at no surprise to us!

The studio is making sure that the 6th installment will make even MORE money by saying that the next movie will contain the most dangerous adventures yet. Awesome!

Didn't think the stunts could get any more dangerous, but we're still excited to check them out!

Jennifer Aniston Is FINALLY Getting A Star On The Walk Of Fame

Jennifer Aniston walk of fame

Along with many other deserving entertainers!

Every year the Hollywood Walk of Fame Selection Committee honors celebrities in film, television, music and radio by immortalizing their name on a Star on the Walk of Fame that will only fade when our civilization does.

In 2012, Jennifer Aniston is FINALLY getting hers!

Quite frankly, we're VERY surprised it took this long! We would have guessed she already had one, considering her fame that grew since her Emmy-winning run on Friends, marriage to Brad Pitt, dozens of starring roles in movies, and of course, she's a gossip-rag regular!

Better late than never, right?

Other movie stars finally getting a Star as well include

Vin Diesel Returning To Riddick…For Less Money

Vin Diesel Riddick Money

You know what we like about Vin Diesel? He doesn't forget his roots.

You know what we don't like about Vin Diesel? He can't quite seem to move past those roots (except his break dancing roots).

The Fast Five actor is in talks to return to ANOTHER former role and star in a sequel to The Chronicles of Riddick as that guy who can see scary looking things in the dark.

His decision sounds like it may all come down to money though. On Tuesday, he consulted his fans on his Facebook page, writing:

GRRRR..

D T the writer/director just landed in New York with the good news. We can start filming this summer. However, there is a catch… in order for us to make a true R rated film, I must work for scale upfront. Not unlike the "Find me Guilty" experience (which I wouldn't have changed for the world)…

Money is always second to art, integrity and spirit… but the real issue is deeper. Can I suspend my life, to momentarily venture to that dark place… called Riddick.

Over 8,000 fans have responded in favor of the return of Riddick to the big screen and he has since wrote:

"P.s. I am off to another meeting with David, the director of Riddick… to see concept art and discuss the potential schedule."

Sounds like it's a go to us!

However, if they do go through with it, they should at least market this film as a sequel to R-rated Pitch Black, not the PG-13 box office dud that followed.

Would U like to see Riddick return in another R-rated sci-fi action flick or should Vin Diesel move on to a new concept?
