Earlier this month, an Oregon woman allegedly cooked her pet Chihuahua to death in an oven because she thought her ex-boyfriend was INSIDE the animal.

According to Clatsop County Jail records, Noelle Georgia Moor (above) has been charged with first-degree animal abuse for the alleged incident.

Clatsop County District Attorney Joshua Marquis told People that on March 19, authorities arrived at the 28-year-old's residence at least twice over a dispute. When they entered the property, they "realized something was very wrong," and eventually found the poor dog in the oven.

Court records obtained by The Oregonian say Moor, who was detained at Columbia Memorial Hospital, believed a former flame was actually inside the canine.

Although Marquis is awaiting the results of her mental health investigation, "it's likely going to be handled as a criminal case," adding:

"A lot of people who do very bizarre things also have mental health issues."

The suspect is currently at the Clatsop County Jail, and will appear in court on Tuesday.

One of the questions skeptics of cryptozoology always ask is, "Why haven't we ever found a DEAD sasquatch, chupacabra, or Loch Ness monster?"

Well, on Friday at the Wolf Island National Wildlife Refuge in Golden Isles, Georgia, something washed up — but what is it??

Boater Jeff Warren and his son spotted and filmed the carcass, which some think resembles the Altamaha-ha — a local legend sea creature, similar to the more famous Nessie, which is said to live in the Altamaha River.

Video: This Sea Lion Attack Still Cracks Us Up

Some wildlife experts are already dismissing the sighting as just a decomposing shark or some other sea life, just in an odd position. Some are even calling the sighting a hoax.

As for the body, it wasn't recovered. Hmm…

Ch-ch-check out the footage and decide for yourself (below)!

Another ruff day in the press for United Airlines.

The company flew into its third doggy drama in a week on Thursday after loading a dog on the wrong plane — again!

According to Today, a dog leaving from New Jersey's Newark airport destined for Akron, Ohio was accidentally loaded onto a plane heading to St. Louis, Missouri. Officials realized the mistake mid-flight, and rerouted the plane to fix the error.

This decision delayed the arrival of the plane and all of its passengers to St. Louis — but a cabin of pissed passengers was just collateral damage in the airline's attempt to circumvent a storm of bad press for yet another pet mishandling.

As we reported, a French bulldog died on a United flight last week after a flight attendant insisted the pup be stored in an overhead bin for the entire trip. A day later, it was reported that the airline confused two dogs and accidentally sent one to Japan when the animal was supposed to take a much shorter trip to Kansas City.

In response to the latest dog-related mishap, an airline spokesperson said:

Are you buying this tepid walk-back?! Because we're pretty skeptical…

As we reported yesterday, former Glee star Matthew Morrison — pictured above, left, alongside Ning Hao, the director of the film — had been reaching out to producers of the Chinese science-fiction film Crazy Aliens he had appeared in recently.

Morrison wanted to voice his displeasure about a horrific video of dog abuse on set that was recently revealed by PETA.
