Well, at least she had a roof over her head???

While most starlets break out the big bucks for luxurious digs, Hayden Panettiere was sleeping on a friend's futon in an attic ALL spring!

Hayden had been calling her friend's usual storage space in Tenessee home out of fear that her TV show, Nashville, wouldn't be renewed for a second season.

The possibly engaged actress relocated down south last year to shoot the series where she rented a condo in the same building as country princess Taylor Swift, but she didn't renew the lease because of the show's unknown future.

How economical!

But alas, the show just got the a-okay for another season AND Hayden has decided that regardless of the Nashville's fate, she'd like to have a home in the country music capital.

Hayden explains:

Yep, that’s right! The Iron Man actress is hosting a meet and greet in New York City this Friday and has invited 60 fans to join her for a private cooking class and VIP treatment! In addition to a private lesson and laughs from Gwynnie, the guests’ — more like clients — package deal includes airfare, two nights at the Hilton Metropolitan hotel, spa sessions and dinner at a swanky French restaurant. Her Groupon ad reads:

And we seriously COULD NOT be more thrilled about it!

The pop sensation has been hard at work promoting her new album, Demi, pretty much every place she can, and according to her interview last night on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, that included driving around New York City screaming out the window at strangers on the streets…one of whom apparently included Ben Stiller!

But let her do the explaining! She does a much better job!

Karen Jones, a 48-year-old woman from the UK, was left in tears after her missing cat turned up dead on the side of the road.

Or at least she thought he did.

Turns out it was all just a case of mistaken identity!

Karen was looking for her missing cat Norman and when a passer-by told her family that there was a cat matching his description that had been hit by a car, she went to investigate.

Abercrombie & Fitch just lost three more customers!

Kirstie Alley is giving CEO Mike Jeffries a piece of her mind after hearing he doesn't want fat people wearing A&F's clothes.

The actress said:

"Abercrombie clothes are for people who are cool and look a certain way and are beautiful and are thin' and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. That would make me never buy anything from Abercrombie… I’ve got two kids in that bracket, but they will never walk in those doors because of his view of people — forget women, his view of just people."

You go, girl!

We're sure your 18 and 20-year-old's money will be better spent at inclusive retailers anyway!

Bet no one saw THAT coming.

Chris Brown obvi doesn’t give a sh*t about anyone but himself, as he proves over and over again.

After neighbors complained about the singer’s nightmarish grinning graffiti that is oddly reminiscent of Monsters, Inc’s Monstropois monsters, the city intervened and told Breezy to cover up the murals ASAP.

When Chris was asked if he would oblige, can you guess what his answer was??

We’re sure you can, but in case you couldn’t: he rudely said his graffiti is “stayin' up”, and threw in a distasteful cuss word while he was at it.

Why, Breezy, why???

We know that Chris will be heavily fined for keeping his art up, but considering that he wouldn’t pay a valet a measly $10 for his services, we can’t imagine he’d be too keen to cough up cash for the city.

We REALLY hope Rihanna doesn’t get back together with this bad boy.

We're not sure what's more amazing here — Julianne Moore's TORTURED feet in those tight strappy shoes or the fact that she kept on SMILING while her toes were being mangled down below!

She's a PRO!

The actress certainly suffered in silence at the Opening Ceremony on Wednesday, but we bet she let footloose on her stylist when it was all over!

Hopefully her glam squad brought some MUCH more comfortable footwear for her next red carpet appearances.

If all else fails, maybe she can borrow some Jimmy Choos from Nicole Kidman!
