The People's Choice Awards are here!
And how better to open the ceremony than the fierce, funny, truly choice comic antics of Jane Lynch?
The Angel From Hell star decided to kick off the show with a super peppy Glee-esque musical number about… choosing!
Performing with who we assume were Sue Sylvester's Cheerios, the comedienne sang to the tune of Walk The Moon's Shut Up and Dance!
Aside from a few corny lines, the opening number was really enjoyable — and reminded us that at this award show the FANS are in charge!!
Lynch then made some jokes in a monologue where she referenced all the year's biggest trends, and described herself as a "masculine Neil Patrick Harris"! LOLz!
Check out the opening number (above)!

The dynamic duo will be giving 2015 a proper send-off on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest, with a little help from some of today's hottest artists!
On Wednesday, Billboard decided to get us excited for the AH-mazing extravaganza by releasing the set list for the ABC broadcast!
The 43-year-old raved about the NYC lineup, saying:
"It's amazing. If you're a country fan, Times Square is the place to be."
And over on the west coast, Fergie will be hosting the festivities from the Billboard Hollywood Party!
The star-studded celebration will feature songs by One Direction, 5 Seconds of Summer, Alessia Cara, Andy Grammer, DNCE, Elle King, Ellie Goulding, Fall Out Boy, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Nathan Sykes, Nick Jonas, OMI, Pentatonix, Rachel Platten, Tove Lo, and Walk the Moon.
And for some fun little bonuses, Jimmy Buffett will also be gracing us with a live performance from Brooklyn's Barclays Center, and Taylor Swift will premiere her new music video for Out of the Woods!
Between the 21 acts, we're going to see a whopping 38 performances! Dying to know exactly what you can expect from your favorite artists? Ch-ch-check out the set list (below)!
The two cute and HIGHlarious youngsters were out representing Ellen on the red carpet at the American Music Awards on Sunday night, and the comedian showed off a clip of their interviews with all sorts of celebs and musicians on her show Tuesday afternoon.
So great to see the precocious pair out working the carpet again — and so great to see they have the same personality foibles and traits as always, even as they get older!
Only it's great to see Rosie talking now! LOLz!!
WALK THE MOON is here and they're bringing the energy.
At the 2015 American Music Awards tonight, the band rocked the stage with their performance of Shut Up And Dance!
On a night when almost all the performances have been showstoppers, WALK THE MOON held their own.
We're so impressed and proud!
Check out the performance for yourself (above)!
And be sure to check out the ongoing winners list as it's announced HERE!
We can't contain ourselves!
That's because we all know that the performances are what give the MTV award show that special spark and what a ton of people tune in for! If that's you, we've got some GREAT news!
Swift is supposed to perform her hit single
A music video can't be made without a director. So you'd think an award show dedicated to music videos would actually invite the individuals who brought the video to life — but sadly, that's not what MTV thinks!
Because soon after, he learned that he wasn't even invited to attend the Miley Cyrus-hosted event! Aside from the musical artists and presenters, MTV offers Video Music Awards tickets only to those who are individually nominated in the Best Director category!
The Contracted 2 director learned that if he really wanted to go, he could buy a ticket — for $450 to $800 a pop! Not having that kind of money to throw around, Forbes is trying to crowdfund his way to the VMAs!
On Saturday, he set up a GoFundMe page as a "social experiment" with a goal of raising $1,300 for tickets for himself and his pregnant wife, a killer suit, and an Uber to the Microsoft Theater at LA Live! He wrote:
What do you get when you take one superstar artist, add a fun, talented band, and top it off with a catchy, addicting song?
Swift brought the Walk The Moon fellas up on stage Friday night for her 1989 world tour performance at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts — and it was a fun sight to see!
Instagram video from the concert shows Swift and Nicholas Petricca singing Shut Up And Dance, the band's hit song that absolutely cannot get out of your head once it enters (and that's a good thing!).
