Do U remember Pakak and Mitik, the two rescued calves from the Alaska Sea Life Center?
As a refresher, the two Pacific walruses were rescued after they were separated from their herd.
Pakak recovered well but it took Mitik bit longer as he was severely underweight.
Now, Mitik is on the mend and he LUHVs his new home at the New York Aquarium.
Two Pacific walrus calves are feeling great after their periless journey.
Pakak and Mitik were both rescued near Barrow, Alaska and have been steadily improving in condition.
The bigger of the two babes, Pakak, weighs 300 pounds and is a bit more lively than Mitik, who is at a low 175 pounds.
Walruses are very social animals so the two rescues are being housed together at the Alaska Sea Life Center to play and communicate with each other.
And these two LOVE to play!
Check out the aDORable walrus calves (above) and learn more about their journey!
