Jule’s Tips for Keeping the Pounds Off While Pregnant

There’s no way around it ladies – you’re going to put on a few pounds when you’re pregnant. However, we realize packing on a ton of weight is what most women would like to avoid. Fitness guru Jules Baxter shares her advice on how to keep those excess pounds off:

*Eat breakfast – a good meal in the morning can help curb cravings during the day
*Snack between meals to make sure you always feel full and don’t over-eat.
*Avoid junk food
*Exercise, Exercise, Exercise!

Doing all of these things will help you stay healthy and look hawt during your pregnancy!

We almost forgot to mention this very important tip: laughing while watching What to Expect When You’re Expecting, in theaters May 18th, will certainly help keep the pounds away!

Check out what Jules recommends to keep your body in the best shape possible for those nine months:

Cardio exercises – this includes anything that increases your heart rate. Cardio is especially good for burning calories

Strength training – lightweight training during your pregnancy will also help burn calories. The more muscle you build, the higher your metabolism, and the more calories you burn.

Flexibility exercises – Stretching can be your greatest weapon during your pregnancy since it helps ease leg cramps & back strain.

Doing any of these exercises for at least 30 minutes a day will benefit you AND your baby in the long run. So get up, start moving, and don’t forget to go see What to Expect When You’re Expecting in theaters May 18th!
