This news is quite raven.
Following her guest hosting gig back in March, it looks like Raven-Symoné is up for a more permanent gig on The View.
That's because we're hearing that ABC is very intent on getting the Disney star to join the panel next to Whoopi Goldberg, Rosie Perez, and Nicolle Wallace. And they're trying to make it happen before their May 12th upfronts in New York!
We're totally into this news, because during her short time on the show, the 29-year-old managed to stay charismatic while unafraid to share her slightly controversial thoughts on race and sexuality.
We think Raven would be a perfect fit for the show, especially because we're not getting very much from Rosie and Nicolle; it's pretty much just Whoopi's show at the moment.
Would U tune into The View if Raven was a permanent host??

For their seventh annual Power Of Women issue, Variety brought out the big guns!
The annual special honors New York women who use their fame, fortune, and force of will to shine a light on causes that need our help.
Kim Kardashian West was honored for her continued support for Children's Hospital Los Angeles. She not only donates time to visit patients, she also donates proceeds from her eBay auctions to the nonprofit. It's a great cause, but she's not even from New York! LOLz! Oh well!
Meanwhile Lena Dunham recently dove headfirst into the horrors of sex trafficking as she works to support Gems, an organization devoted to helping victims of commercial sexual exploitation.
Whoopi Goldberg is an honorary chair at Figure Skating in Harlem, Rachel Weisz helps kids get into college with Opportunity Network, and Glenn Close founded the nonprofit Bring Change 2 Mind to raise awareness of mental illness.
These women's stories are as powerful as they are! Ch-ch-check out all their Variety covers (above) and find out more about their charitable efforts HERE.

Whoopi just opened a can of whoop-ass!
With Giuliana Rancic receiving a ton of hate for her hurtful comments on Fashion Police and Zendaya raking in a lot of support for her mature response, it's no surprise that the ladies of The View decided to join the conversation.
While all of the panel had good points on the matter, Whoopi Goldberg had the strongest feelings about the whole "patchouli oil" and "weed" stereotyping, mostly on account that she herself has dreads!
Before Fifty Shades of Grey was a huge box office hit, it was still just a bunch of hungry actors ready to rip each others clothes off in the name of art.
General Hospital star Ryan Peavey was one of the actors in the running for the role of Christian Grey, and before he lost out to Charlie Hunnam, and later Jamie Dornan, he went quite far.
And by that, we mean he went far with the auditioning actresses!
Obviously in a movie that's fully one fifth sex scenes, you have to know how the actors look getting it on, but DAYUM these auditions sound scandalous!

We knew it was coming, but that didn't make it any easier to watch.
Rosie O'Donnell said goodbye to The View for what's probably the last time on Thursday.
After admitting in a personal video that she needed to leave the ABC talk show to take away the stress of the job, Rosie said farewell to the audience with her daughter Dakota in her arms.
It was bittersweet seeing Rosie leave the show for a second time, and we do hope she makes good on that promise to come back for arts and crafts segments!
Plus, Rosie Perez hilariously ruined the moment by awkwardly trying to start a chant that just never played out right at the end.

Things are really reaching a boiling point on The View, and not just behind the scenes.
Well while the ladies and their guest co-host Laverne Cox were discussing how the story was a clear sign of racism, Whoopi Goldberg simply shook her head and smirked.
However, it didn't take long for her to break her silence and get into a shouting match with EVERYONE, leading to a very uncomfortable experience for pretty much everyone involved!
The question is, was Whoopi out of line, or was she right to call out her fellow co-hosts? Watch the clip (below) and decide for yourself!
