You can take the man out of the jungle…
But according to the latest trailer for The Legend of Tarzan, you can't take the jungle out of the man — as evidenced by the wild scenes featuring Alexander Skarsgård kicking some serious civilized ass!
Years after he left the jungles of Africa behind for a regular life as John Clayton III, Tarzan travels back to the Congo to serve as a trade emissary of Parliament — or so he thinks!
The newest trailer reveals that the jungle man is actually a pawn of evil mastermind Captain Leon Rom (Christoph Waltz), who ends up capturing his non-damsel wife (Margot Robbie).
But little do the bad guys know, Tarzan has some big forces of nature on his side — and unleashes stampedes and hordes of attacking gorillas on his enemies! Take that, civilization!
Ch-ch-check out the epic trailer (above) and go see The Legend of Tarzan in theaters July 1!
We are absolutely sick to our stomach!
Last week in the resort town of Santa Teresita, Argentina, beachgoers picked up a Franciscana dolphin from the ocean and passed it around for selfies.
The foot-long animal — which cannot survive long out of water — was eventually killed due to overheating and dehydration.
Video footage shows the dolphin dying on the ground, laying motionless.
The species — also known as La Plata dolphins — can only be found in Argentina, Uruguay, and Brazil, and can only inhabit saltwater.
They are categorized as "vulnerable" on the International Union for Conservation of Nature's Red List of Threatened Species, and has a population of under 30,000.
Once video of the horrific incident began circulating, the Argentine Wildlife Foundation (AWF) quickly condemned the swimmers.
"This incident should serve to remind people about the need to return these dolphins to the sea if one is found outside of the water… It's fundamental that people help rescue these animals because every Franciscan has value."
Not surprisingly, people took to Twitter to vent their outrage
Animal lover Kaley Cuoco knows how to celebrate her birthday!
On Sunday, the Big Bang Theory star took to Instagram to share with her many fans that she celebrated turning 30 years old early in the most AWESOME way possible.
The blonde beauty spent her special day at an animal sanctuary. LOVES it!
On one snap, she wrote:
Color us jealous!
In fact, the Charmed alum also spent the day with her sister Briana, whose birthday is just the day before Miz Cuoco's.
And it seems the two had quite a good time, as Kaley couldn't help but flaunt her fun day with the wild animals.
Well that would be quite the career change!
But honestly, it wouldn't surprise us in the slightest. Miley Cyrus is such a huge animal advocate that we could totally see her making the switch one day.
But for right now, she knows she needs to be the voice for her furry friends.
The pop princess has been speaking out on social media about the wolf cull in British Columbia, Canada a lot lately, but she and her brother Braison recently took a trip up to the Great Bear Rainforest to visit scientists and activists and get an up-close glimpse at the wildlife the government is trying to regulate.
Canadian officials are hoping to increase the number of wolves killed this year, in order to protect the endangered caribou population.
So, Miley joined forces with Pacific Wild to raise awareness about the cull and how she thinks it should be stopped. While she was there, she explained that sometimes she gets upset that her career is in music and not animal research, saying:
