Hey remember when she used to star alongside Angelina Jolie?! Anyway…

Winona Ryder has just signed on the dotted line to star in the new indie flick, The Iceman. Based off the Anthony Bruno novel, Winona will be playing the oblivious wife of a family man who kills people for the mob. Her hubby will be played by Michael Shannon and his "mentor" will be played by Chris Evans.

Mmm! Chris Evans! Yummy!

Congrats, Winona! In your honor, we're going to go watch Heathers on Netflix to celebrate and remember better days! Ha!

Miss El Paso USA 2008, Lorena Tavera, was arrested last weekend for shoplifting a $69 blouse from Dillard's!

That is NOT beautiful. And for only $69 worth of merchandise?!? That's unfortunate. At least make the arrest worth it like Winona Ryder did.*

The beauty queen also has two outstanding traffic warrants haunting her.

When asked to comment, Lorena denied the story's accuracy, stating:

Courtney Love has made it clear to the world that she does NOT like being called out for drugs when she's not on them, and now she's got even more to say on the subject:

"I've been maligned as this drug freak for years, and I'm getting tired of it. That's not the way I live anymore. I try to work a good program. I don't do smack. I don't do crack anymore."

Here's Courtney on the most recent drug habit she kicked - Adderall:

"[It was] legitimately prescribed to me by a respectable physician. But after Britney [Spears] freaked out a couple of years ago, and her toxicology report said she was taking a much lower dose than I was, I decided to get off that sh*t."

Courtney on drugs she started using thanks to Andy Dick and Winona Ryder:

"[Dick] handed me a pill right before the show and said, 'Courtney, take this, it's like Vicodin without the aspirin.' It f***ed me up bad. Winona Ryder slipped me a similar pill a few months earlier. I'm such an addict that I just swallowed them both, without asking what they were."

And here's Courtney on her lowpoint with drugs:

"Snorting blow up Pamela Anderson's ass!"

Ha! We're just glad to hear that Courtney isn't using anymore, and as far as that Pam Anderson comment is concerned, we'll assume that she's kidding! Good one, Courtney!

For the first time in forever, Winona Ryder didn't wear a black dress to a red carpet event.

Instead, she went to the other end of the spectrum for the SAG Awards and chose a white Alberta Ferretti silk gown.

Sure, Wino could have used a little spray tan, but we're just happy she knows other colors exist.

Jumping on the bandwagon!

Black Swan actress Winona Ryder recently revealed that she very much wants to have a family, especially children. She admits that she'd be happy to swap her acting career for a chance at motherhood as her extended family really seem happy with their kids. She explains:

"I think if I had a child, I would. I think I would just want to be a mom. And I've seen from my brother and sister-in-law how much work children are so I think I'd want it to be my priority."

Good! You're still young. You should have a little tyke of your own. Such a rewarding part of life!

No! This NEEDS to happen!

Back in 2009, there were rumblings of a proposed sequel to the '80s cult classic Heathers coming to fruition, with original stars Winona Ryder and Christian Slater both on board to reprise their roles as the rebellious Veronica and J.D., as well as original writer Dan Waters and director Michael Lehmann!

However, when recently asked about film's current state of development, Ryder revealed that plans have stalled!

She explains:

"There was an idea, and I was sort of like on their back about like, 'We've gotta do it because, you know, Heathers exist outside of high school.' And there was this whole idea that Dan [Waters], you know, came up with with some little additions from me. At one point, I really wanted it to happen and was trying to get everyone riled up. But last I heard, who knows? I'm like, 'We should do this.' But everyone's doing their things right now. It's nice when people bring that up because I'm so proud of that movie, and I love when people come up and ask if there's going to be a sequel. It means it's still in their consciousness."

Um. HELL YES, it's still in our consciousness, bb!

Nothing has even COME CLOSE to comparing to the greatness - and bite - of that movie (No offense, Mean Girls)!

We seriously hope that they don't let this idea slip through the cracks!

C'mon guys, get everyone back on board! We bet Shannen would be down, too!

Winona Ryder does NOT have positive things to say about Mel Gibson.

During an interview in the latest issue of GQ, she spoke about an uncomfortable run-in she had with the man.

Here's what she had to say about her less-than-wonderful Mel experience:

"I remember, like, fifteen years ago, I was at one of those big Hollywood parties. And he was really drunk. I was with my friend, who's gay. He made a really horrible gay joke. And somehow it came up that I was Jewish. He said something about 'oven dodgers,' but I didn't get it.

I'd never heard that before. It was just this weird, weird moment. I was like, 'He's anti-Semitic and he's homophobic.' No one believed me!"

We cannot express enough how awful this is! And given Mel's track record, we're definitely inclined to believe Winona's story.

We are NOT impressed, Mel. NOT. AT. ALL.
