Did You Miss The Emmy Awards Tonight? Just Want To Experience Them Again?? Here's Your 2014 Recap — In GIFs!

amy poehler lol

If time truly is a flat circle, then we won't mind reliving this night over and over again!!

Tonight's Emmys were SOOOOO stacked that we didn't really know what to expect — except maybe Jim Parsons winnning.

The guy has more Emmys than the man who makes them and keeps the "rejects" as he's making them, like someone who works at Dairy Queen and loves free ice cream.

We mean, can you believe that Gwen Stefani didn't spend hours practicing how to say Colbert Report??

Even if you saw it once, you gotta see the whole emotionally draining (in the good way!) night IN GIFs (below)!

New Hunger Games Posters Put District 13 Supporters Of The Mockingjay On Display! Haymitch, Finnick, And — WHOA! What Happened To Effie?!

hunger games mockingjay new posters effie lead wow

Holy Katniss, these posters are incredible!

With the release of the Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 creeping closer and closer, the world starts getting some super fun promotional things…

Like a whole bunch of teaser trailers featuring everyone from Jennifer Lawrence embracing her role as the Mockingjay to Josh Hutcherson and Jena Malone standing silenced behind Donald Sutherland!

Well, Lionsgate has just gifted fans with a whole bunch of character posters and they're pretty BRILLIANT!

The posters show those who are fighting from District 13 sporting their bland, grey garb, but it's the minute details that convey things aren't exactly… right?

Is Haymitch (aka Woody Harrelson) even okay? Why does Elizabeth Banks as Effie look so beaten down (yet also stylish!) and Sam Claflin just looks, so, unlike his usual lively Finnick!

Plus, is it just us or does Julianne Moore's President Coin look pretty smug?

Ch-ch-check out all the posters (above)!!!

Two Hunger Games Stars Are Working On Another Movie Together! Looks Like The Odds ARE Ever In Our Favor!

Go Haymitch and Gale!

Liam Hemsworth and Woody Harrelson may be citizens of Panem in The Hunger Games, a society set in the future, but it looks like they'll be heading West and back in time for this newest movie!

The two were just cast in By Way Of Helena, an revenge action thriller set in 1880s Texas!

Liam will play David, a Ranger (the type of officer, not the Baseball player) brought to a remote frontier town to look into a series of unsolved murders where he goes head-to-head against Woody's character, a preacher who has his grip on the town!

Filming on the movie is set to start up in September before the two hit the promotional trail for Mockingjay - Part 1, which opens November 21.

Congrats you two!

Jessica Chastain Has Been Offered A HUGE Role On HBO, But Does She Have What It Takes To Be… A True Detective?! (Answer: YES!!)

| Filed under: TV NewsMatthew McConaugheyWoody HarrelsonJessica Chastain

jessica chastain offered lead hbo true detective season 2

If this were to happen, IF THIS WERE TO HAPPEN!

It seems that the wildly popular HBO show, True Detective just may have found one of their leads for season two!

None other than the lovely Jessica Chastain!

The Nerdist did some digging and learned that the Zero Dark Thirty actress has been offered one of the leads in the second season of the series, but unfortunately, has YET to accept the offer.

But, she's GOT to! Seriously!

Jess has already tackled Osama Bin Laden, so why not take on the Yellow King next?!

Just kidding, we all know Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey already got rid of that problem!

But really, we TOTALLY hope she accepts! She'd be perfect for season 2!

The next question, of course, is who her co-star will be! We think someone like Greg Kinnear or Helen Hunt would be perfect to compliment Jess!

Think about it, HBO!

UPDATE: All our hopes and dreams have been crushed because Jessica's reps have DENIED the rumor and said she will NOT be doing the show! BOOOOOOOOOO!
