Who would ever want to start a hate crime against tiny teapots! They're just so adorkable!
Much like Zooey Deschanel who covers the July issue of Cosmo Australia fabulously!
In fact, we'd say she's crossed the adorable line and has gone straight into sexy and provocative!
Zooey's shed the perky cardigan and is showing off some major skin with a navy lace Dolce & Gabbana bodysuit and short black 10 Crosby by Derek Lam skater skirt for the cover.
Thankfully, the bangs are intact because otherwise we'd hardly recognize her!
As for her admission of being terrified of tiny teapots, well, we can't help there, but we'll remember that next time we sit down for a cuppa!

Zooey Deschanel continued to show her love for Karl Lagerfeld Monday night at the FOX Upfronts post-party in New York City.
The The New Girl looked more chic than adorkable in a white button-up top worn under a black sequined Chanel Resort jacket and paired with a black skirt.
Signature tights, gold pearls and Chanel two-tone flats provided the finishing touches to Zooey's blue carpet look.
She sure loves her Chanel lately, eh?
Keep this up and you'll be finding yourself sitting in the front row in Paris, Zooey!

Zooey Deschanel looked adorkably chic on Tuesday to promote the new She & Him album on The Late Show with David Letterman.
The New Girl posed for pictures outside the Ed Sullivan Theater in a navy blue dress, Chanel sweater, ballet flats and handbag.
And those soft, yet bouncy curly locks? Fab!
It's also nice to see Zooey showing off her bare legs for once. You've got nice gams, girl! Ditch the tights more often!

The Met Gala came and went in a whirlwind of fashion activity on Monday night!
We had the good and the bad, but we also had some conspicuous trends.
That quintessential punk staple — the safety pin — found its way onto Carey Mulligan's dress and Zooey Deschanel's clutch.
Paloma Faith, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Katy Perry rocked the headpieces, which was a golden crown in Katy's case!
Paloma also got on the gloved-sleeve trend along with Kim Kardashian, Beyonce and Kerry Washington.
Jessica Alba, Nicole Richie, Cara Delevingne and January Jones were all rocking some major ear bling and cuffs while Jessica Biel and Karen Elson opted for small little septum rings.
Quite a few lovely ladies showed off the fruits of their workout regimes in belly-baring numbers, like Gwen Stefani, Olivia Wilde, Nicki Minaj, and Miranda Kerr.
Then there were the rebels, like Anna Wintour and new bestie Kimmy, who wore very non-punk floral gowns.
Maybe they were the most punk of all! LOLz!
Ch-ch-check out the gallery (below) for some of the biggest trends of fashion's Oscars!

When tasked with putting together a punk look for the Met Gala, the first inclination must be turning to one of the preppiest designers in the world, AKA, Tommy Hilfiger.
RIGHT?!
Well, that's certainly how Zooey Deschanel interpreted the punk theme at the Met Ball on Monday night, donning a striped, blue & white, one-shoulder Tommy Hilfiger gown.
HOWEVER! Her Edie Parker clutch DID have a pink safety pin print on it. And, as designers have reminded us again and again, it doesn't get more hardcore than safety pins.
Apparently, Mr. Hilfiger also dressed Debbie Harry of Blondie and Marky Ramone of The Ramones, so maybe he really does have his punk rock game on lock.
Props!

Zooey Deschanel imparts some serious fashion wisdom in the April issue of InStyle, and we love her for it!
The actress looks radiant in a bold red Carolina Herrera dress on the cover of the mag, but what really stands out are her words regarding true personal style.
She said:

Cute but no cigar!
Zooey Deschanel was thisclose to getting it right on the red carpet at PaleyFest on Monday night, but poorly chosen accessories got the best of her.
The New Girl's striped Kate Spade dress with pleated skirt, keyhole cut-out at bust, and bow accent couldn't have been more girly and fun, but pairing it with black opaque tights just didn't make any sense — even if they are her signature slash safety blanket!
Imagine if she'd gone bare-legged (or even pulled on some nude hose) and worn red peep-toe pumps. Wouldn't that have been so much better???
That's a rhetorical question, but the answer is still yes.
And though her hair was a bit messy, her face was as pretty as ever, so we'll call it a wash.
