This is just too sad, considering her current mental state!
An old Showbiz Tonight interview recently resurfaced with Amanda Bynes chatting about staying out of trouble in 2007!
Mandy explained:
“I’m not that interested in the club scene and drinking doesn’t appeal to me so it’s actually easier for me not to do it. I have never been offered drugs├óΓé¼┬ªI’m surrounded by people who aren’t interested in that. Birds of a feather flock together and I definitely don’t fly with that crowd.”
She must be flying high with someone, considering a recent drug test allegedly revealed marijuana in the actress’s system!
Before calling her entire family ugly and twit-hating, Amanda expressed her love for mom and dad in the throwback sit-down:
“I’m very lucky I have a great family and I have my eye on the prize which for me is a long career and I just don’t want to blow what I’ve worked so hard to achieve.”
She also explained how grateful she was for opportunities she’s been given:
“I think people take advantage of the opportunities. For me, I’m just grateful, you know, I appreciate anything that anyone does for me. Maybe because I have parents who worked really hard to earn money├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥my dad was a dentist for 30 years; he wasn’t given anything you know? His parents worked really hard, too; he didn’t grow up wealthy├óΓé¼┬ªmy dad used to always teach me the value of a dollar.”
Amanda is allegedly battling with her parents and apparently has never been close with them…ever!
Weird how someone can go from being happy with family to despising them!
The actress is currently on a two week psychiatric hold in Ventura, CA, after reportedly setting a fire in the driveway of a home near her parents’ residence!
Rick and Lynn Bynes are attempting conservatorship over their daughter’s personal and financial business, but no updates yet from the judge in the case.
When will all this craziness end?!
