Marc Jacobs is constantly raising the bar with his unique concepts and bold visions for his collections and their shows. And, true to form, he wowed yet again with the S/S 2010 collection he designed for Louis Vuitton and the amazing hair he paired it with on the runway in Paris on Wednesday.
Who doesn't love a hot afro?!
We love the bows. We love the volume. We love it all!
Jacobs describes the collection as, "Street clothes, embracing the hippie-cyber, tribal-punk world." He pretty much covered all his bases there, but we have to say it's on the mark!
The hair combined with the prints, furs, and collars kind of reminds of 70s glam, but many of the silhouettes and cut-outs were clear throw backs to the 80s, while still other looks were just completely modern and funky.
Refreshing, innovative, and above all, beautiful. Bravo!
