Anna Wintour's A Work Of Art
Anna Wintour has now been immortalized in an oil painting to be hung in the National Portrait Gallery.
The Vogue HBIC sat for 2 hours while artist Alex Katz did his work. The artist requested Anna not wear her sunglasses because he saw she had lovely eyes in The September Issue.
Anna says of her experience "I couldn't think of a nicer way to spend the afternoon. We talked for two hours while he worked, and I was pleased to see that he used a lot of colour, which I adore."
We think he did a pretty good job, especially her bob. Not a hair out of place.
