Not only is she absolutely gorgeous, but there is nothing we like more than a supermodel trying to better herself and the world.
After experiencing complications from the birth of her first child in 2003, Christy Turlington became interested in prenatal health, thus sparking the birth of her film.
Christy is making her directorial debut with No Woman, No Cry, a full-length documentary that examines health care options for expecting women in four different countries: Tanzania, Guatemala, Bangladesh and the United States.
The film is premiering next week at Village East Cinemas as part of the Tribeca Film Festival. Not only does Turlington narrate the film, but she did this film on top of pursuing her masters in public health at Columbia.
Damn girl! What an inspiration!
