Givenchy Says Au Revoir To The Couture Runway

Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci has announced that the fashion house will no longer be showing off their couture creations on the runway.
In an effort to cut co$$$t, Givenchy will now be showing their high fashion pieces by appointment only. Tisci explains:
"I want to make couture even more special than it is, and not just another catwalk show. People can really experience the couture moment: See it, touch it."
Not a bad idea, seeing as private appointments will cost them 35% less than putting on a runway show.
The designer also revealed he will not be using ANY black in the next collection. "It's the first time I'm not doing any black. It's a challenge for me to do no black, and I like a challenge."
Inneresting.
