Well, the dress has been found ... to be a fake!
The thief who took the gown says he took the dress from Lupita's room at The London after finding the door ajar.

Oh Miss Australia, what in the world were you thinking?!?
We can’t believe 18-year-old Jesinta Campbell would allow herself to be dressed like that.
Campbell will wear the getup in Las Vegas next month as part of the Miss Universe pageant's national costume portion.
The outfit consists of a one-piece sexy swimsuit with some hand-painted designs by an Aboriginal artist and is paired with a multicolored and multilayered flamenco-style skirt and a lamb’s wool shrug.
Oh, and to top it all off, she’ll also be wearing those high-heeled Uggs.
The look was created by Sydney designer, Natasha Dwyer, and Miss Australia loves it. Says Campbell:
"Part of our Australian identity is our indigenous heritage and it was so important that it was included in the national costume.”
We give them credit for trying to include Australia’s diverse background, but seriously, who would even think that entire outfit looks good?
Even the Aussies aren’t impressed, with some publications calling it “a national joke” and a “travesty.”
We’d have to agree.
