Looks like Kate Moss doesn’t mind posing for
The cover girl has done a new shoot, but this time it’s for a music album. And no, thankfully it’s not her music album.
Moss is on the cover of Bryan Ferry’s new release, Olympia.
The cover shot, inspired by Edouard Manet's painting Olympia, was shot at London’s Sunbeam Studios and shows Kate wearing a diamond necklace while spread across some satin bedsheets.
Says Ferry of the shoot:
“I normally use unknown women – it’s nice to discover girls for that kind of thing. But this time I thought it would be a good idea to ask Kate, because she’s a great femme fatale of our era. And it turns out she was delighted to do it, she was a big fan of the music, and it worked out fantastically.”
And the shoot wasn’t cheap. According to Ferry:
“The designer, Gideon Ponte, built a fantastic set with the finest linen and the perfect bed.
Shoes and dresses were flown in from Paris, jewellery escorted by security guards, flowers were everywhere and we had a supporting cast of thousands.”
Really though, was all of that necessary for an album cover? Really???
The album gets released on October 25th.
Will U check it out?
