Gisele Creates Her Own Animated Webseries

Gisele Bundchen isn’t just a pretty face. She also cares about the environment!

The hottie is taking part in an animated web series which features her as the lead role.

The cartoon, called Gisele and The Green Team, follows the supermodel and her animated friends as they try to make the world a better and greener place.

Check out some of the HIGHlights below from a recent interview describing her involvement:

On why she started her web series:
“I am so excited because I have been working on this for the past two years and I can't believe it is finally coming to life. … My motto is the three R's: Reduce, reuse and recycle. The less garbage we produce the better. … I wanted to find ways to educate kids and adults about a subject very important to me and what should be to them, saving the planet.”

About the webseries:
“I grew up in a household with five sisters and having that experience I wanted to teach girls about empowerment, confidence and self-esteem. This series centers on five female characters who are best friends/supermodels and heroes. These band together because it is their mission to educate viewers about team work and how they all need one another to help fight the evil that is destroying the planet. On this show, no one is better than the next. I want to enforce equality and how everyone who plays on a team is equal.

A few tips from Gisele on how to be more green:
“Take shorter showers, don't leave the water running while you are brushing your teeth, only run the dishwasher when it is full, if you wash dishes like me and have a double sink fill the other side with water to rinse off the soap, buy your produce from local farms so we can cut down on fuel use, use hydrogen light bulbs in lamps and buy a filter system instead of buying bottled water.”
