Deckers Outdoor Corp. must be patting themselves on the back right about now.
In 2010, the UGG makers engaged in an anti-counterfeit war and judging by the figures they won the battle.
On December 23rd they seized 244,648 pairs of fUGGs in China, which added to the other 154,829 pairs they were able to snatch up throughout the year.
As if that wasn't enough Deckers successfully shut down 4,783 websites selling fake products and removed 30,444 eBay listings.
In a statement, the US based company said they "will continue to work with lawmakers, customers and policing authorities, and through our own initiatives, to ensure that fake product is seized and destroyed and counterfeiters are punished."
