American Apparel Sues Over Exploding Nail Polish
Remember last year when American Apparel recalled their nail polish after the bottles kept breaking?
Well, now they're wanting the company responsible for the "explosive" bottles, Forsythe Cosmetic Group, to pay up to the tune of $5 million big ones!
Ha! Who'd have thought American Apparel would ever have a problem with sticky fluid getting all over their customers?
In the lawsuit filed by AA, they claim the Long Island based company used defective bottles, which ruined the nail polish launch.
They go on to add that Forsythe then scammed "tens and thousands of dollars" after they found out American Apparel was switching suppliers.
The cosmetic group denied the claims, calling AA "a suspense-novel-worthy chain of melodramatic alleged events".
