Coco Rocha Says She's Healthy & Happy

Model of the Year, Coco Rocha, once again took to her blog to defend her weight.

The post on her Tumblr is a direct response to our observation that she looked skinnier at the Elle Style Awards.

Coco writes:

"Can you believe today marks an entire year since I woke up to this newspaper headline at my front door? What a crazy few days where I was in the middle a media storm over this manufactured controversy. Some advised me to keep quiet and wait it out but at the time I decided to take the opportunity to speak my mind on the issue in an open letter I wrote a few days later.

Its ironic, to say the least, that almost exactly a year later I’m now reading a series of blogs like THIS - again about my size, but now on the other end of the spectrum. One or two unflattering photos do not constitute an eating disorder. Neither does gaining a pound or two one season over the last constitute me “too fat”. I assure you, I am happy, fit and healthy as ever. I have to laugh though… its sort of ridiculous that the difference between being “too fat for the runway” and “unhealthily thin” is about 2 or 3 pounds these days. Its a bizarre world we live in…"

We are certainly glad to hear that Coco's healthy, happy and fit!
