Model Jessica White is set to appear in court on May 7th to fight misdemeanor charges that she repeatedly hit a woman in the face while waiting for a cab last October.
The Manhattan prosecutors' office offered her a plea deal that included two days community service and two days of anger management in return to pleading guilty to disorderly conduct, but no dice.
Jessica and her attorney believe they can win the case by having 3 friends testify and a security video that supports her side of the story.
Mark Jay Heller said his client's accuser Vanessa Kia is a "nasty angry person", adding:
"This woman threw herself at [White's] group, and started pushing and fighting with them. It's really horrifying that taxpayer money is really being wasted on this. The video shows she was running after my client from behind. She recognized she was Jessica White, and was shouting, 'You're a celebrity. I'm going to take you down.'"
Sounds like pretty damning evidence.
