Get ready to see LOTS more of David Beckham!
After years of speculation, the soccer star finally confirmed his plans to launch a bodywear line.
Becks revealed to WWD:
"I have had the idea of doing a bodywear collection for some time now. The push to do something of my own really came as a result of my collaboration with Armani…It proved to me that there is a real market for good-looking, well-made men’s bodywear."
Before you even ask, the answer is YES. David said he and his golden balls will appear in the ads, but quickly added "I’m not sure my mum will be too happy seeing a billboard image of me in underwear again."
It's OK David, the rest of the world will be happy. Trust.
No official release date was mentioned, however, Becks is also releasing his third fragrance, Homme by David Beckham, in September.
P.S. David's logo (above) was designed by Stella McCartney's husband Alasdhair Willis.
