Teen Model Chosen For Louis Vuitton Ad Campaign

Get ready for the new face of Louis Vuitton, 16-year-old Nyasha Matonhodze.

The Zimbabwean born cutie from Northampton will appear in the fashion label’s autumn/winter 2011 campaign. That’s major news for any model or celebrity, but even more so for a teenager!

The youngster will be photographed by Steven Meisel as one of six up-and-coming models in the campaign.

As for the moment she discovered she was chosen, Nyasha reveals:

"My eyes filled up with tears and I thought 'Lord you are lucky!' It didn't actually hit me until I was sat in a Rolls Royce sitting eye-to-eye with Mr Meisel. He is a wonder to work with, he and Marc [Jacobs] made me feel beautiful".

A rep for her agency, Elite, adds:

"Nyasha is not only very beautiful she has the little extra thing you cant quite put your finger on. She is intelligent, graceful and people who meet and work with her instantly fall in love with her. I have no doubt she has the potential to go all the way."
