The show must go on.
After the passing of legend Joan Rivers, many wondered if her show Fashion Police would be able to carry on in her absence.

We smell a publicity stunt and a potential legal battle.
Snooki is speaking out about a press release which was sent out this past Monday stating that Obscene Jeans would be outfitting the female cast of Jersey Shore.
But the tiny diva says that’s not the case. In fact, her rep claims Snooks has nothing to do with that clothing company and that they had no right to use her name.
Snooki’s rep adds:
"The inclusion of Ms. Polizzi's name in the announcement was unauthorized. Ms. Polizzi has never been approached by the company."
We’re guessing someone at Obscene or Celeb Branding might have been misinformed. Take a look for yourself at the full press release after the jump and let us know your thoughts.
Is the company using their names for press?
OBJE Signs Product Placement Agreement to Provide Hot New Fashions to Snooki and the Gang
SARASOTA, Fla. — Put the kids to bed, America, because the cast of MTV’s “Jersey Shore” is about to get Obscene. Obscene Jeans Corp. (OTCQB:OBJE) announced today that the company signed a product placement agreement with Celeb Branding, LLC, to outfit the female cast members of “Jersey Shore” in its hottest new fashions.
“The opportunity to have the girls of ‘Jersey Shore’ wear our sexy new jeans and apparel was a no-brainer,” said OBJE CEO Rachel Stark-Cappelli. “These ladies are the stars of television’s top-rated program in the youth demographic, and they’re photographed and interviewed literally everywhere they go. It’s a match made in heaven: The ‘Jersey Shore’ girls may already know how to get down and dirty, but now they’ll be getting Obscene.”
Under the terms of the agreement, OBJE will provide jeans and other apparel and accessories to ‘Jersey Shore’ cast mates Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Jennifer “JWoww” Farley, Deena Nicole Cortese and Sammi “Sweetheart” Giancola to wear for organic product placement and brand awareness during video and print interviews and appearances. Currently in its 4th season, the prime-time reality series has delivered record-breaking ratings for MTV, turning its cast into international megastars.
The cast’s fame is so great, in fact, that their association can make—or break—fashion companies both large and small. Last month, the stock price for Abercrombie & Fitch (NYSE: ANF) fell nearly 10 percent during the first trading session after the clothing retailer offered "Jersey Shore" star Michael "The Situation" Sorrentino and other cast members a "substantial payment" if they stopped wearing Abercrombie-branded clothes.
“Fashion is very important to the cast of ‘Jersey Shore,’ and an entire generation is taking style cues from these young women,” Stark-Cappelli said. “We expect our agreement with Celeb Branding to position OBJE for explosive growth once the cast members are seen and photographed wearing our jeans around the world. We’re confident that Snooki and the girls will find Obscene Jeans to be the perfect fit.”
