A pair of ruby slippers believed to have been worn by the gorgeous Judy Garland in The Wizard of Oz will soon be going for sale.
The shoes will be auctioned off in December and are estimated to sell for around $2 million!
The slippers are one of four created for the flick. One is stored at the Smithsonian, another is in a private collection, and the third pair were stolen from Minnesota's Judy Garland museum.
The current owner of these shoes, Joe Maddalena, reveals:
"This is the most important film prop in the world. There is nothing more famous. They are one of the greatest pieces of pop culture in existence."
A pair of red test slippers from the movie which belonged to Debbie Reynolds sold for $612,000 last May.
So how much would someone pay for an actual pair worn by Judy? We’ll have to wait and see.
