W Turns Nicki Minaj Into A Work Of Art

Nicki Minaj is on the cover of W magazine's November issue, which also happens to be the art and fashion issue.
For her spread, artist Francesco Vezzoli wanted to transform the Super Bass rapper into an 18th-century courtesan.
He explains:
"In her performances, Minaj makes very explicit and challenging use of her beauty and her body, so I thought of comparing her to some of the most famous courtesans in history: the Marquise de Montespan, Comtesse du Barry, Madame de Pompadour, and Madame Rimsky- Korsako."
To look the part, stylist Edward Enninful dressed Nicki in Christian Dior Haute Couture, Vera Wang and a brocade dress pulled from the Western Costume Company.
We think the concept is pretty brillz. Do U???
