This sounds practical.
A company called Mr. Kennedy has created the world's first ever shoelaces made out of pure 24kt gold.
The laces are handmade by workers down in Columbia and takes a whopping 120 hours to produce. They can be yours for $19,000 and to sweeten the deal, they'll be delivered with security and laced anywhere in the world.
How could anyone pass that up!?
But if the gold strings are out of your price range, Mr. Kennedy also offers silver laces for a mere $3,000.
We have a feeling we'll be seeing these on Anderson Cooper's RidicuList very soon.
