When those in the Northeast were hit by an unexpected snowstorm, did they stay inside and conserve all their water and bread?
Nope! They went shopping!
Manhattan West owner Lester Wasserman says:
This storm came out of nowhere. It gave people a reason to shop because they needed something for the snow.
Lester saw the sales this past weekend skyrocket above every the rest of their October numbers.
And West wasn't the only store seeing high numbers. The entire Northeast shoe market lit up with successful numbers thanks to the snow.
But while this may be a good thing for sales, we wonder how many more unusual weather occurrences are en route! Because that's NOT good.
